  1. there's nothing wrong with the 13 star flag. but our flag shouldn't be for sale and used for profiteering enterprises. but only in the U.   2. do you think its odd that those who want to "make America great AGAIN" are the one's most proud of being americans? that's because they've always known they've been getting their way for the last 40 years. the elite have gotten richer, authoritarianism has taken over the country, the military budget is at an all time high, the elections are rigged, the jails are full of poor people, reproductive rights are withering away, women are still 3rd class citizens, gun violence is rampant, corporate profits are skyrocketing and GOP gerrymandering is putting the GOP minority in political power all over the country. the fascists are already in control, that's why their so proud of THEIR country.

  7.  @cindylloyd2365  … the way I see it... there's nationalism and there's patriotism. nationalism is specific to any given country. patriotism means the same thing regardless of what country your from. patriots respect other countries, value peace and international cooperation in enforcing global human rights and denounce war and even the aggression of their own countries. lastly, a patriot is willing to sacrifice to advocate honesty, compassion and to achieve world peace, not through human suppression, but through human freedom. so, i'd say you are a patriot indeed.

Greene  … both democrats and GOP have moved farther to the right sense the Reagan era. they've both embraced American foreign aggression and regime change, neo-liberal economics, a more authoritarian govt and corporate state and it was Clinton who revoked the glass-steagall act which lead to the most recent economic catastrophe and no, not even Obama attempted to reinstate it. the oligarchs have been allowed to take complete over this country. but even Reagan's insanity pales compared to trump's insanity. trump's making more unilateral decisions than ever. he ignores and circumvents congress and the courts. when they say no he merely signs an executive order or declares a national emergency or shuts down the govt and then does it anyway. he misappropriates military and public funds and uses them as he pleases even to fund a 4th of july reelection speech. he's been caught telling over 10,000 lies since occupying the white house, distributes doctored videos of his political opponents and doesn't hesitate to publicly belittle, chastise and insult everyone who opposes him. he accepted foreign interference to get "elected," obstructed that investigation and states he's willing to do it AGAIN! he claims "executive privilege" and immunity to obstruct investigations even further. he refuses to release his tax returns and defies subpoenas at will. he EMBRACES foreign dictators and praises them. he's been a fraud, cheat and sexual predator HIS WHOLE LIFE and gotten away with it. trump ISN'T merely the next step but the final nail in the coffin leading to the complete obliteration of our republic.
