its exactly the kind of god they believe in! one that doesn't care about your morals, your greed, your lies or your corruption in your daily life. they believe JUST believing in their god will get them into paradise! this is the teaching of Paul the apostle. there are Christian churches, right now, that teach WEALTH is reward from god and the richer you is an indication that you're following the word of god. and sadly, there are poor suckers who believe these lies and contribute to the wealth of these religious hucksters.

YES... actions speak louder than words. anyone can say good things but putting good words and thoughts into action is the ONLY way to make a better world. as far as i'm concerned apathy is just as much an evil as any direct act of evil. and apathy is rampant in this country right now! so many people seem know what's needed to establish justice but are unwilling to do it!

@youbean666 … yes the group that calls itself the "family" has a lot of corrupting AND covert influence over our elected officials. my god, there's a lot of fascist orgs that have had a secret domination over our society. but the GOP is the org that allows these entities so much influence. so they're like the central control that combines all the corrupting fascist entities into a single and unified unit. the GOP machine has become the single biggest threat to human freedom the world has ever seen. and its effect can be seen on a global scale even in Russia and china.

@jgsomers6862 … I confess I am not a Christian but I was raised one. my parents allowed us kids, in our early teens, to make our own choices concerning religion. and they were pretty conservative Christians at that. although i'm not religious I do respect ALL religions. but criticize those people who choose to interpret their religions in a negative, meanspirited context. i've found all religions, with the possible exceptions of Satanism and scientology, to have an interconnected link - and that link is LOVE, compassion, tolerance and personal integrity. god created humanity to love, cooperate with and help one another and RESPECT OUR PLANET! and although i'm not a Christian I do follow the social teachings of jesus; as well as the buddha, Socrates, Gandhi and others. in fact I founded a new social philosophy, called equalism, based upon these interlinked social teachings. what, if any, religion you choose to follow is your own business. but how you apply your believes to your neighbors and society is what defines YOUR CHARACTER!
