ALL elitist hierarchical social systems are capitalist. their intent is to keep the elite in power. and the elite utilize BOTH BIG business and BIG govt to perpetuate this system. they use big govt to protect their wealth and enforce their will. the capitalist elite want govt out of THEIR way not out of YOUR way. capitalism is economic fascism and fascism is political capitalism. one can't exist without the other. socialism, on the other hand, is economic democracy and democracy is political socialism. one can't exist without the other. the elite on the right and left misrepresent and mis-define ALL these words. so most people don't really know what these words mean either.

  2. capitalism IS corporate oligarchism. you're confusing capitalism with free-marketism. capitalism is marketism but NOT FREE-marketism. capitalism has NOTHING to do with free markets. being that capitalism literally means "moneyism" there's nothing FREE under capitalism, not markets, not products, not education or medical care, not govt - and NOT people. everything has its price; everything is a commodity to be exploited for its profitability.   3. dream on. you're confusing technological, medical and scientific advancements with capitalism. they have nothing to do with each other. thanks to capitalism poverty is still rampant and the middle class only exists under crippling debt. and unions, not capitalism, created the middle class in the first place. capitalism, materialism, commercialism and GREED - you know, capitalism - has corrupted and enslaved the world.
