S. education system is so backward and inefficient, i must say this again, the soviets and Chinese were NEVER socialist or communist. it has NOTHING to do with the name of any goddamned political party. in the U. S. do the republicans practice or promote republicanism or the democrats democracy? socialism, communism, whatever you want to call it, actually have a definition. by definition they completely reject and denounce social hierarchies, privilege and monetary systems. so mr. smith, like so many other confused and brainwashed people, are either purposely misapplying socialism in order to demonize it or they're demonizing it through pure stupidity or gullibility. we have way too many people on the right and left who have no idea what socialism, capitalism, democracy and fascism really are. and this is what's truly scary.
