  1. people on the right AND left have no idea what socialism is. there's no such thing as "democratic" socialism as a distinct system. ALL socialism is democratic. THAT'S THE POINT! and that's just one reason the soviets and Chinese were NEVER socialist. you can't have socialism without democracy. The word "democratic" in the term "democratic socialism" refers to how socialism is to be achieved NOT administered! you can either achieve it through revolution or through the electoral process. and the latter is impossible as long as there's an elite to corrupt the electoral process. furthermore, socialism CAN'T co-exist with monarchies or any elitist social structure which is why the Sweden and Denmark AREN'T socialist. lastly, socialism has no more to do with big government than big business. capitalism results in BOTH! what sanders and MOST other pseudo leftists and "progressives" propose is "state capitalism." if done right state capitalism can be better than laissez-faire capitalism but it still leaves the rich rich and the lower classes dependent on and enslaved to the elite. we NEED socialism and the only way to achieve it is through REVOLUTION! - a revolution of thought and non-compliance with our slave masters. and equalism, a philosophy I founded, offers the ONLY means to achieve REAL SOCIALISM, OUR FREEDOM and human rights!
