  1. the GOP ISN'T winning the "quid pro quo" argument as the caller suggests. quite the contrary. more and more people are realizing that the GOP is lying right in goose-step with trump; their lord and criminal master. not only does quid pro quo keep being confirmed in all the testimony so far, it merely reinforces the charges against trump because quid pro quo ISN'T required for a crime to have been committed and a crime doesn't have to be committed to qualify for an impeachable offense.

I constantly write and speak of how ending the draft back in the early '70's didn't change anything. its still the lower classes who make up the armed forces, usually to escape poverty and for the G. I. Bill. but bringing back the draft isn't the solution either because it'll still be only the lower classes who'll face inscription as the upper classes, with their connections, can buy their way out of it. there's only one solution to this dilemma and that's to remove the elite from power and I don't see that happening any time soon. (btw, the civil rights movement, the voter rights act, Johnson's war on poverty and the 18 year old vote didn't really change anything either. in fact, over the last 40 years, since Reagan stole the Whitehouse, things have only gotten exponentially worse.)
