  1. nearly EVERYTHING trump does is without the consent, or even the knowledge of congress. why should this be any different? the congressional GOP sure doesn't care and the dems didn't even include "circumvention of congress" in their impeachment articles. over the last 40 years congress has voluntarily surrendered more and more of its constitutional authority to the executive branch. in effect, right now, we have an autocratic govt in the U. S. - congress and the judiciary are just there for show!

  2. that's an excellent point! iran's first response should be against trump's international properties. that makes perfect sense. they're prime, unprotected targets that would hurt trump where it really counts - in his bank account! you know what? if this happened congress would probably reimburse trump with tax payer dollars for his loses.

  3. abdi wasn't real clear there. did he say that Gaetz and the GOP put a provision in the recent defense bill that trump COULDN'T arbitrarily go to war with iran? and then he said the dems "caved" and allowed the provision to be included. that makes no sense. thom, could you please clarify Abdi's statement? uummm, I wonder why trump, the conman, decided to issue this Iranian attack now? during an election year? with his poll numbers decreasing and a senate trial looming? war and/or some baseless but deliberate military action against a perceived enemy is always a good way to raise your poll numbers. it looks like we may be in for a pretty bloody 2020 as trump becomes more unstable and more desperate. which is why WE MUST DEMAND trump be removed ASAP!
