  1. this is america. these high-level fascists won't be punished. trump won't ever be punished. the GOP won't ever be punished. only low level, on-site, minions who were fool enough to do as the gop and trump encouraged them to do, will face any punishment whatsoever. and even they won't face any serious repercussions. 99% of them will offered plea deals, time served or a few years probation. and the militias will just go on as before and probably gain membership from the national exposure. i'll bet you ten year sentences will be rare and those will only serve 3 years or less. the system is corrupt. the dems are already backing away from their campaign promises. they're already backing down to the GOP - again! just like after watergate. MORE THAN HALF of the GOP, right now, supports the attacks on 1-6-21 and right-wing media and q-anon are still spreading their lies. will they EVER face justice? don't bet on it.

  3. @Judith Mirville ... you make good sense. but i consider myself an equalist, a TRUE progressive, not what passes as "progressive" these days. as an equalist i accept the modernization of political and economic thought. i reject the 19th century concepts that're still embraced by the left and right today. equalism simplifies EVERYTHING! we understand that complication DIVIDES while simplification UNITES! and we use our own terminology. we see society divided not into 7 classes, as the elite tell us. but only into 2 classes - the elite and everyone else. and everyone else are the COMLEN! so we reject terms like "proletariat" and "bourgeoisie" as divisive and counter productive in the 21st century. we also divide political and economic thought into two camps - predatory and non-predatory. ALL predators are fascists and ALL non-predators are equalists. a fascist is anyone who wishes to dominate another and force compliance and conformity to their beliefs. equalism says - how do you expect the whole world to change but not be willing to change yourself? WE MUST ALL CHANGE to unite and make a better world for everyone. there's more to equalism than this but this is a basic overview. join the equalism movement and help bring philosophical thought into the 21st century to meet the needs of 21st century problems. what do you think?
