cops aren't the people you want disobeying the law, like the cops in Washington state. its their JOB to uphold the law and protect people's rights. every time they frame someone, commit perjury, beat suspects, make false arrests and commit murder they're violating the law. cops are just another form of gangster with their own code of silence. and if these cops hated the war on drugs so much it was their obligation to join in the efforts to get the laws changed. but it was the cops who insisted in making the laws "tougher" and the punishments more severe. and mack's claim that the "left" commit the most violent acts contradicts the CLEASR evidence; fascists commit far more violent acts than the left. and its the fascists who've threatened civil wat over the last 2 and half years if their demands aren't met. mack is right about one thing. the left has a problem with free speech. but so does the right! both sides try to silence the other side. and its the right that hides and misrepresents themselves through constant astro-turfing; the disguising of corporate pursuits as grass-roots efforts in order to hide the true goal of an org. I denounce the corruption and absurdities of both sides but the left is clearly less violent and more honest in its methods.
