S. foreign policy is just like its domestic policy - its being decided by the WRONG people - the elite, the plutocrats and the oligarchs! you don't let the war machine dictate foreign policy. you don't let the corporations dictate domestic policy. but these are the people who've illegally taken over our govt, at ALL levels, over the last 150 years. the corporate elite, the American aristocracy, with its industrial technological and military complexes are now in complete control of our economy, our govt, our foreign affairs and OUR LIVES! there's still a open window through which we can REVERSE this insanity. and we damned well better do it real DAMNED SOON! because if we don't, one day, within the next decade or two, we're going to find ourselves in a corporate induced dystopian nightmare from which we CAN'T AWAKEN!

  2. i think you mean the "roman empire." it evolved from the collapse of the roman republic in about 500bc and itself collapsed after 1000 years around 500ad. the "holy roman empire" was a completely different entity. it rose in northern europe around 1000ad, well after the fall of rome and it didn't even include the city ROME! it was never a republic or a democracy. it eventually dissolved around 1800 and, in 1871, became what is known as germany today.
