Carolina GOP state "legislatures" pulled yesterday? they pulled an unquestionable act of public FRAUD to override a governor veto of the GOP penned state budget. i'm not a big democrat fan but the GOP is absolutely THE most corrupt, amoral and underhanded institution in this country. they lie cheat and steal to further their agenda. there's NO level too low to which they aren't willing to stoop to get their way.

@spiritsbeyondthestars3493 ... yes. by denying legislation to even come to a vote mcconell is acting like the dictator of the senate. he's way overstepping his bounds of authority. that's wasn't the idea when the writers of the constitution came up with the idea of a bicameral legislature.

its impossible for trump to be re-elected. there are several possible scenarios. trump can steal the white house again - be illegally placed into the white house a second rime as he was in 2016. he can be elected for the first time. he can lose the election. or he can decline to run for whatever reason - hopefully because he's been impeached or imprisoned for stealing the white house in 2016. but its LIITERALLY impossible for anyone who was elected the first time to be RE-elected.

@davidowens5898 … true. bush wasn't RE-elected because he wasn't elected in the first place. the same holds true for trump. its IMPOSSIBLE for trump to be RE-elected because he was never elected to begin with. our electoral process is completely corrupted and has been for decades. and that 2016 election stunk to high heaven. it was the most obviously and blatantly corrupted presidential election yet. but there trump sits, in the white, being allowed to continue to pretend to be president. since the elite got away with illegally putting trump in the white house in 2016 - what's to stop them from doing the EXACT same thing in 2020? americans need to get up off of their butts and FIGHT for the enforcement of their own constitution!

democracy is the peaceful and HONEST transfer of power through popular majority. we still have the "peaceful" part, so far. we just lost the "honest" and "majority" parts with trump. we probably lost them BEFORE trump. but he is the most blatant example of our losing those 2 aspects of democracy. did you hear what the n. @randydelp4073 … actually the U. S. has been a oligarchy, a plutocracy since BEFORE the revolution. the constitution and our capitalist economic system were designed by these oligarchs to solidify and continue elitist rule. and they, so far, have succeeded in their goal quite well.

I said that's what the document was designed to do. and it succeeds as is demonstrated everyday and has been demonstrated over the last 250 years. when was the last time you saw the govt defy the elite? or pass any legislation that wasn't corrupt, pro-business and/or written by the elite and their lawyers?

@AcuteStressResponse … don't underestimate the massive corruption of trump and the negative effects this conman is having on the whole of society. trump is A MAJOR problem all unto himself. but you're right, aside from trump, BOTH sides, democrat and republican, the left and right, are fraught with corruption. the elite on both sides take advantage of the divisions they, themselves, create through identity politics, fire-hosing and countless other scams. the elite purposely herd us, label us, manipulate us and pit us against one other and we fall for it generation after generation.
