it was Trump, his Whitehouse lawyer Pat Cipollone and the rest of trump's cartoon council that should've been admonished for lying and making unfounded legal assertions in defense of their criminal client. Roberts needs to step up and DEMAND Trump, himself, and his council stop making legally baseless claims among them - 1) Trump has absolute immunity, 2) there's no evidence to support impeachment, 3) executive privilege applies to defying congressional oversight, covering up crimes or unethical or impeachable behavior and 4) Trump can use executive privilege as a means to withhold witnesses and documentation of his crimes. ALL these assertions are false and if they were made in a criminal proceeding the judge would throw out these groundless assertions and admonish the lawyers making them. These are just four of the many absurd and legally baseless claims being made by Trump and his council.

I just saw 2 documentaries on the rise of Mussolini and Hitler and I see something VERY similar here. the elected legislatures and the bureaucrats have LOST CONTROL over the govt and are bending to every command, every threat issued by trump! I too have been fascinated by history and have done a lot of self study. enough to accurately call myself a historian. right now i'm watching several videos on both Albert Speer, hitler's personal architect, and the Crusades. but you don't need any links from me. youtube has a search bar at the top of each page. simply enter whatever subject your interested in and push the search button. you can find info on everything from Japanese feudalism to Sumerian mythology to Napoleon. be forewarned. not all the info is 100% accurate so watch several videos on any one subject to get a clearer picture of the truth. and don't forget websites like wikipedia and others, to help broaden your info even further. I've found the full text of Hammurabi's Code and the Magna Carta online. quite interesting stuff. did you know the Magna Carta, written in 1215, states - that justice could not be sold? and just a few years ago the U. S. supreme handed down the Citizen's United decision making political bribery legal. the Magna Carta tried to abolish absolute power while the Supreme Court is defending it. maybe one day humanity will actually LEARN from history.

Not Convinced … trump's guilt is CLEAR as day. and his obstruction IS OBVIOUS AS HELL! trump has the ILLEGAL advantage of having a rigged trial and a tampered jury. in fact trump's jury tampering and threatening is ITSELF an impeachable offense. if the GOP does indeed allow trump to CONITINUE to be held unaccountable for and get away with his 5 year crime spree that will indicate the dissolvement of the American govt and constitution! the question is WILL AMERICANS act accordingly or will they continue to do nothing to protect their govt and constitution from being totally corrupted and dysfunctional and allow it to be run by a criminal GOP cartel?
