there's no doubt that capitalism works by rewarding the most unempathetic, megalomaniacal, predatory and sociopathic society has to offer. the elite place one stipulation on social predation and that's that it must make or keep you financially wealthy, politically powerful or both. otherwise, to them, you're just a 2-bit punk or thug. they equate gaining success, by any means, as deserving success. they equate "superiority" with their warp and twisted sense of "rugged individualism." they call it ambition and embrace the "never-take-no-for-an-answer mentality. strength and masculinity are demonstrated through taking what you want without any regard for who you may hurt in the process or any law or ethical or moral standard. they consider people who play by the rules as suckers and compassion and conscience as weaknesses to be exploited or defeated with impunity. this ISN'T how john locke envisioned free-marketism or adam smith envisioned capitalism. but this is how the elite and other predators corrupted these ideas to perpetuate their power, prestige and privilege.

@JasonWardUCLA … capitalism rewards the most unethical and most predatory people in society. they reward the best liars and thieves. we're ruled by sociopaths and gullible, brainwashed idiots keep exalting, praising and worshipping these sociopaths. you've fallen for the scam and i'm here to wake you up!

@JasonWardUCLA … you do realize, don't you, that marx wasn't the only socialist that ever lived? the reality is capitalism functions on forced consumerism. I didn't buy MS Windows. it came already installed on my computer. I don't choose to buy auto or medical insurance. the insurance industry spent millions lobbying congress to pass laws REQUIRING participation in their industries. I don't spend money on food voluntarily. nature dictates my survival depends on food and the retail food industry has creating an extortionist system where if I don't pay them I don't eat! what you call "voluntary" is an illusion; A LIE! capitalism employs psychology trickery and manipulation through advertising and public relations to induce us to buy things we don't need at prices we can't afford. Edward Bernays turned this scam into a marketing science that is used, today, by corporations, govts and organizations the world over. you, my friend, have been bamboozled, conned and played. but don't fret. there's millions of other gullibles who've fallen for the same lie.

welcome to the corporate police-state.

@marcmacaluso2795 … I apologize for the lack of paragraphs but I think the message transcends this structural faux pas. I do use paragraphs often in my comments but I suppose not often enough. i'll take your criticism under advisement. in the mean time - what's your opinion on the message?

@marcmacaluso2795 ... i'm not talking about economists but the elite; the oligarchs. all accumulated wealth is acquired at the expense of others and the expense of society on a whole. there's just no way to make massive amounts of wealth without harming others. it all boils down to greed and apathy.
