Russia didn't allow color revolution to take over Armenia, Georgia, Kazahstan and Belarus, it couldn't afford to let US try to corner Russia. Lmao, US didn't bother to invade Cuba? Also, while candidate from "liberal-democratic party" (which is in fact conservative populist one) Slutsky (I laugh every time I hear his surname) is not very well known, but his party has great reputation among population and are guaranteed to take his own share of votes - they usually even more radical in their stance than Putin and there are a few people that think that Special Military Operation going not as fast and thorough as it can be. Anyway, pretty much every spectre of political views represented in Russian elections and that system is leagues more democratic than whatever shithsow US has.
