I would totally do a cosplay of the era and take that trip. If I could. Those are some posh train cars!

That aqueduct is crazy1 I think Kevin Callan, the Happy Camper was just there canoeing across it. I think it was the same one I'll have to go back and check. But it's pretty cool π

Mmmm...maple glazed salmon nuggets πΈ I can't believe you've never had a butter tart before! That just boggles my mind! I used to love them if the inside was all drippy and made a mess all over everywhere! I can't eat them anymore (or most of what you showed) since being diagnosed with celiac. I miss butter tarts.

This is awesome! I had no idea Vancouver had heritage listed trees and rocks. That's so cool! Next time I'm in BC I'll have to check out that list. And now I'm going to see if the city of Toronto has heritage listed trees and rocks to add to your video compilation!

I have family and friends out in BC. Some sitting in their homes with their cars packed, waiting for evacuation notices. This heat is crazy, and all the fires are incredibly scary. All those people who lost their home in Lytton. And everyone who has died because of the heat. The heat dome made its way eastward and it did cool off a bit by the time it got to us in Ontario, but it was breaking records all the way across the Prairies. We had already broken temperature records for June in Ontario before the heat dome even got to us. So much for the Great White North ππ’

When you are on your way to Toronto on the train I'll meet you at the station and show you around town π I have a friend who lives in Pond Inlet, NU which is pretty much the furthest north you can go in Canada. It's on my bucket list.

Cool. I did not know that! I love cranberries. I've go a bag in the fridge. QuΓ©bec ones though. They're closer π

I'm so excited for you Mike! Maybe this could be a regular thing for you? Now....let's see if I can get the app here in Ontario π€π

That's a lot of responsibility Michael, you'd better not muck up her garden or you'll have to run away to Nunavut or something π

That experience in the ancient city is cool. What a great idea to get people involved in the history rather than just walk thru a museum. Museums are great, but experiences make better memories π

Β @DownieLiveΒ how fast is it going? ππ

Generally speaking, I intensely dislike golf, but this was fun to watch. Only Aussies would think of making a golf course 3 days long, just to get more tourists π

I have enjoyed travelling by VIA Rail. Mostly between Toronto and Ottawa or Montreal, but when I was a kid we did the Cochrane to Moosonee trip. It was LONG and my little sister was very annoying π

It's great you can get out and about there in Vancouver. We're still under stay-at-home orders here in Toronto until at least Feb 22. Probably longer. Restaurants have not been open to inside dining since November. Everything is closed. The closest to European I'm going to get is a batch of sauerkraut I'll be making today to post on my channel later. π
