  3. The BBC's treatment of Doctor Who was the last straw for me and prompted me to cancel my license. I binned them when they gave the role to Jodie Whtttaker, though the Capaldi era was also dire. I'd hated their political bias for a long time before that, though.

  27.  @realMaverickBuckley  I had this discussion with people that were supportive of Channel 4's recent "all black" day. I was accused of being racist etc. for not supporting it, of course, and the idiots in favour of it were responding with statements such as "How fragile you are for feeling threatened by us getting represented for one day out of 365!", my response to that was that black people were already massively over-represented all year round. It is disgusting that our broadcasters see nothing wrong in their foisting of this distorted and dishonest representation of our society on us.

  32. One more thing you need to consider, Andrew, the costs associated with imm. The vast majority of the new are drains on the economy, even those that work are mostly in low-skilled, low-paid jobs that qualify them for "in-work benefits", they also use the NHS, get housing benefit and their kids get state ed, so they don't benefit the state at all. It's also been shown that their presence here does depress wages (long denied by advocates of gov im.pol) and pushes house prices and rents up, also long denied by advocates of gov.im.pol. We need to ditch the ridiculous policy of swapping agriculture and food security for massive new housing developments and address the problem by reducing demand for housing instead.

  33. @Hellsbells Thanks! Generally like your comment but I have to point out that English people are only white. "English" is an ethnicity, not a nationality and as such only people with English ancestry are English. There are no non-white English people, although some mixed heritage people are part English. English is not the same as "British".
