  38. ​ @pierrewave7235  The danger is that Lineker's high profile, afforded him by the fact that the BBC presents him as some sort of popular star, will allow those that agree with him to present his opinion as some sort of consensus, when in actual fact Lineker and those that agree with him are actually a small, though vociferous minority, a minority that's views are already given undue prominence due to their overrepresentation in the media.
