And if there are no requirement to verify a child's age then that literally means there are no age requirements. They will be hiring 10 year olds and claiming they didn't know and they will have legally still followed the law.

  20. I think I read that it was like 0.001% so it really made zero difference. These funds just invest in literally everything, some may own total market funds with like 5,000 different stocks in them with a very tiny percent for most stocks.

Along with Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, etc. They are literally voting to bring back their own destruction and death squads. It's only been 50 years since the same policies enforced by death squads!   34. Unemployment is literally not even worth the work. I got unemployment during the first 8 months or so of covid and the hoops even then were ridiculous (or at least way overburdened with no help for people lost in the system), even without having to look for a job. I got denied for a full month simply because I filed one weeks payment a day late because their website didn't work. I tried calling and emailing them like 17,000 times and never heard back. Why they denied me for the other 4 weeks I have no idea, they never cited a reason. Plus the poverty line is like 13k, which is usually used as a cutoff line for qualifying for medicaid and food stamps. Insane, nobody can survive on that. Adding a work requirement literally means you wouldn't qualify for assistance anyway unless you can fine a job working 5 hours a week.

  38. That's insane, I can't even imagine the ocean being that hot. I live in the north so even during the hottest days in the hottest summers the lake water is still cold (although refreshing).
