The slowest part of travel isn't the travelling, it's the queuing up at an airport, bus station, train station, etc. Checking in\buying ticket, finding the right gate, getting people on, getting people off, locating your bags. What good is a 12 minute trip if it's an hour on both ends getting ready and getting to your final destination?

He came up with bullshit idea after bullshit idea, taking investor's and tax payer's money left and right, and we just let him. Maybe if we funded proper education in this country, especially science, left politics and greed out of the system, we wouldn't keep burning perfectly good money for the vanity of a buffoon.

  40. The chances of life existing on Earth aren't millions or even billions to one, it's one to one. Those are the odds for things that HAVE happened. This crackpot needs to stop praying about math and actually learning it. And, yes, PLEASE put more of these videos out.   42. Assuming these gyro busses are even possible (yes, I know they aren't), I have one really important question. How many people will die when the gyro fails? Between the bus toppling over onto other cars, the gyro likely flying around into empty land at best and buildings full of people at worst, and all the sudden crashes caused by the failure, we're talking dozens at best and hundreds at worst.

  46. Even if we assume that putting water in a vacuum would make it evaporate faster, this drier wouldn't be more energy efficient, because you'd first have to spend the energy to create the vacuum. It'd be, at best, shifting the energy consumption saved at the drying end and move it to the creation of a vacuum.
