He came up with bullshit idea after bullshit idea, taking investor's and tax payer's money left and right, and we just let him.   31. I remember one unusual treatment using UV light, and unless I'm misremembering this, they were using it to treat damage due to acid reflux. They inserted a pill-shaped light, having it flash in short pulses in order to toughen the esophagus. We're talking tiny levels in a very localized area, and not to treat a disease but to repair damage.

  32.  @CGrantL  I did state I could have been misremembering. What I remember was scarring the tissue to make it tougher and protect against acid. And Google isn't a God, it doesn't know everything. Algorithms can only do so much. Eventually, a few fragments of a half remembered news story from years or even decades ago is going to have no avail on a Google search. The conclusion was that it wasn't to treat a virus but to correct a physical defect. Seriously, even after typing a dozen search permutations, best I got was UV therapy for psoriasis, and that was STILL followed by questions about light and coronavirus.

Men like Bill Gates didn't start wealthy, they earned it (legitimately or otherwise). Some people just don't care about anyone but themselves, and by extension their offspring. If he could have all the money in the world, it wouldn't be enough. He'd need all the money the world ever had. Then THAT wouldn't be enough, he'd need all the money in the universe. He's a black hole of greed and self-importance, and no amount of wealth made, borrowed, or stolen will ever fill it.

Honestly, if you showed me one clear focused UFO taken from a stationary position and not some blurry light show shaking like crazy because the idiot can't operate a camera worth a flip, I MIGHT be able to be convinced this phenomena is real.
