  1. people complaining about 8% inflation have no clue. i just got a quote from 3 suppliers for large electric cable made of aluminum . price went from 2 $ / ft in 2020 to 9.65$ / ft today. that's over 300% . they tell me all electric wire has gone crazy especially large sizes .

  7.  @cz1589  any destruction of the crimean bridge would be repairable . holes in the concrete don't knock it down. even if they dropped a section, that can be rebuilt. the bridge is around 11 miles long so with the very limited resources of ukraine they at most could damage a small part of it. the most damage would be if they could drop the middle section of each bridge as there are 2. the middle could be dropped by destroying the arch on top. pretty much not possible with anything but a nuke or a crazy lucky hit.

  8. zelensky's statement is entirely based on trump winning the election. trump said they talked . zelensky knows that trump does not support more aid so he is trying to make the best move he can. now with biden dropping out , things may change. if kamala is the nominee i don't know her chances but if they pick a different candidate we will know in a few weeks.

  10. 90% of russians are poor as hell living all over russia . they can't get much poorer. those that live in small villages rely on themselves . they grow their own food and farm their land. so they will not notice much change. the big change will be in cities that rely on factories for jobs. those jobs will disappear. they will be unhappy.

  31. we have been literally scrapping MRAPS by the thousands . it was actually costing money 12,000 a piece to do that. so we send a few hundred to ukraine who really need them ,due to the world's biggest mine fields, and an accounting price gets recorded against the total funding authorised. should actually be a negative number or zero. not the typical 1 million price.
