  5. it's cause walt didn't want anything appearing on the streets of disney parks that take people out of the fantasy that they are in a magical kingdom. no garbage trucks. also they have passageways and hidden doors for security to grab troublemakers and escort them out via underground hallways. also underground is actually ground level. the entire part is built like 10 - 20 feet above the original ground because high water table prevents actual underground construction.
