Not looking for trouble but decide to carry a gun as a minor in camies.... Not shooting once but 10 rounds into victim pretty much emptying the whole magazine... You want that person dead... Pretending your John Wick or something...š

Risk is a fact of life. I keep hearing risking their lives and on the other hand, I hear officer's firing their weapon because they feared for their lives when later it was shown there was no threat... We all risk our lives in daily activities and even when loaded weapons are aimed at us during traffic stops. We risk serving in the military or operating heavy equipment. It's when you don't accept the risk that it's time to find a safer occupation. Abusing citizens in custody is against the law... Police don't get to give arrested the Keystone Cops Paddy Wagon treatment so they look "pretty" for their mugshots. Then hide behind qualified immunity when they get caught.

The lady nailed it on the head...age discriminaltion. The employers here are very picky. Employment is dependent on parts and chip shortages for manufactoring. Even temp jobs have become picky with interviews with applicants. I had one employer hire me twice for two different positions only to back out to go in a different direction. There's a lot of abuse of the laws going on out there.

I remembered the last freighter launched in Lorain in 1981, "William De Lancy," before it closed down. Carter and Reagan didn't watch out for us in the midwest, allowing Japan and foreign steel to run roughshod over us leading to auto, shipyards, and steel to nearly be wiped out. Reagan especially since everything went out of business on his watch. Yet, he favored California which did very well with the growth of Silicon Valley and the military.

This is why we can't have nice things. Ruining it for everyone... It creates a stereotype if I, a Black person, comes on the lot to shop for a vehicle and want a test drive. How will I be received? Remembering those days of going to the store and seeing a sign "Only Two Kids Allowed At A Time" on the door. Or being greeted by an armed security guard when patronizing a local store. Innocence lost...

The shoplifter had money, real or not⦠Excessive shoplifting is forcing stores to close affecting the whole community. It needs to stop otherwise youāll be traveling miles for snacks or paying a premium for third rate stale brands.

Ā @oldmech619Ā Yeah, graduating that year there were no jobs not even fast food once unemployment ran out for laid-off workers. At the time, even if steel and auto did modernize, it would take years and the steel being imported was just too cheap and plentiful. They were priced at cost to capture market shares. A presidential tariff or limit should have been imposed and a requirement for the industry to modernized to compete against the new imports. Kamra came to Japan when Mexico and China came online and now Vietnam and India are starting to take shares from China. It really comes down to cheap nonunionized labor and lenient environmental regulations.

Only 40 years... Should be life with parole. He did this repeatedly without remorse for his actions to many innocent people. He'll be out in 2061.

Tragic over jealousy.. Chapman worked hard to get to the top ranks only to be gun down because the guy was jealous of the woman he was with. RIP Isaiah Chapman... Be the Guardian Angel for your kids...

The man has done so much for not only Cleveland but the surrounding areas like Lorain. I remembered seeing him at an appearance in the 1970s as a kid. My first celeb meet up ...š I looked forward to Hooihan and Big Chuck and the Ghoul and the earlier show by Ghoulardi. It was the only time I was allowed to stay up pass my bedtime. I would run to the store for chips and soda for the late night flicks. Bob Hooihan Wells is still kicking it in Florida at 91. All my heroes I grew up with are passing on...š¢ 62 year old kid... Thank you, Big Chunk, for my childhood. š

Surprise My Friends Restaurants opened so quickly. I would think they would take a day or two for the crew to decompress and to clean up the crime scene. That's what we do in San Diego... Very odd...
9
The report didn't mention how many years he was originally sentenced to. He may have served most of his sentence. How do you make up for 17 years? $57,000 a year isn't enough. Some prosecutor made their career sending innocent people to jail and boasting they never lose a case. You couldn't offer me a million dollars for that amount of time. His reputation is ruined and people will still believe he did it including the victim. Lottery winners get more money.

Seems intentional.... Dump truck steered towards the parked vehicle and didnāt slow down. Highly doubt it was sleep related...why pick that point to steer off the road. Suicide during work... Cameras everywhere now.

Being Black and growing up here. I am being impartial and it seems the posts are coming from a place of frustration. What came first? The accusations of racism and the grandson's response to being called racist. There are lazy people of all races. Nothing new here. The college is responsible for steering impressionable students to take action using the school's resources to protest the business and banning Gibson from doing any business with the college. The goal is to put the bakery out of business. This is no different than a YouTuber telling their followers to attack an individual online. Shoplifting was true and not made up. How is that racist to have the suspects detained and arrested? The school is also guilty of indoctrinating their students to be professional activists and to force changes in social media via Twitter and Facebook. The judge reduced the amount but not by much says a lot.

First, Thank You all for your service. I am disgusted and shocked that this would take place in the Midwest. I just returned from San Diego and served 10 yrs with the USMC. Would do more if I were physically able. I know this is isolated but for a group of teens to have a similar mindset to attack Veterans for "kicks" is concerning. I hope they are also made to do community service with Vets to see what they had to endiure to guard our freedoms.

Obviously, he was Gay and forcing those young men wanting to inspire to improve themselves was a tragic. They will forever question their sexuality. If it happened to me, and it nearly did, I would be celibate for the rest of my days. I just wonāt be able to be with anyone else. Youāll never hear about it on CNN or denounce by LGBTQIA+ groups. To give perspective on the time of the sentence⦠He will out when the Enterprise-E is launched.

Heard about this in San Diego and now live locally. Shocking on Christmas Day... Even mobsters have better morals then this inhuman. Iām Black Veteran and Iām just ashamed. Regardless of BLM and police issues this was just cold hearted. Death penalty or life is the only justice here.

There is no labor shortage other than low wage jobs. The employers are pumping hyperbole and exaggerate claims to the media. Itās also dependent on region. Iām in the Lorain County area and Iām a USMC Vet with 35 years work experience in tech and quality inspection and testing. Iāve worked in Silicon Valley and San Diego. Iām transitioning from California to Ohio to be close to family. Employers here are very picky and want basically a unicorn that can do it all. I would have 95% of the qualifications and they would turn me down because I donāt have enough plastic experience or they really wanted someone that can certify and calibrate hand tools and not inspection. Iāve been in interviews that last hours and they always say they are impress BUT... People want me to go Amazon or Walmart as if itās expected. I even proposed a rate cut and even temp status to try me out but no takers. Very odd... Semper Fi šŗšø

Bad move eliminating tenure... We'll be left with less than stellar professors and quality will go down. John Carroll will become an indoctrination camp just like all the other colleges putting agenda ahead of education. You go to school to learn not to be brainwashed. But hey, John Carroll will be open for brainwashing. lol

Too many instigators and trolls trying to blame the mother for leaving them alone to pick up a pizza. So, how can a mother handle newborn twins and a pizza safely at night. Answer: Leave them safe in their car seat sleep. Pick up is under 2 minutes in most cases. Mother just being attacked by haters trying to have her charged for what a majority of the people do daily when pumping gas and doing pitstops. Would you leave a child in the car to pay the cashier for gas...

It should have ended with the lawsuit. Sheās not part of a Home Owner Association. The city is running a harassment campaign over a ridiculous yard decoration. All issues should have been brought up in the lawsuit, Institute for Justice can help if money becomes an issue.

Batteries have limitations like cycle life and capacity. The Great Lakes can be stormy (Edmund Fitzgerald) and the last thing you need is low batteries and high waves. Though there are laws being past for all electric cars there's the issue of the Grid that can't handle the additional loads of all those electric vehicles needing recharging. California recently required all electric vehicles by 2035 but they're Grid is already strained with flex alerts and brown outs. What to do about spent batteries and child labor in Africa mining lithium. Devil is in the details.

That's the reason amateur fireworks are illegal in Ohio. People are going overboard with it and getting hurt. It's not about being patriotic when Americans are being sent to the hospital with burns or worse. My city had similar large scale amateur fireworks going off that lasted nearly 5 hours. SMH...some just have to learn from experience.

Howard was asked about the other two suspects in the car with him but he said nothing. He's not sorry because he won't share information with that "No Snitch'n" street rule. He fired 30 rounds into a house he had no ideal who was inside. It'll be 2044 before he will be let out. That's a short sentence compared to the eternity Lyric Lawson has for being just being a little kid. You are responsible for every round you fire from your weapon whether it's a snub nose revolvers or an M60 machine gun. Every round released is attempted murder...

Silent movies went out in the 1920s. We have this new thing called talkies thatās revolutionary. I want to hear the conversation. Pictures only show something being pin to the back of a rain coat. High school prank would be āKick Meā signs. My guess it was racial otherwise the prankster wouldnāt retire. UPDATE: Looking into it was a reference to the "Klan." Being Black I had worse in the military. Depends on frequency of occurrences etc. Knowing Sheffield Lake, it's well know for giving out tickets to those passing through.

Seems to be a hit. Man shot a day before the trial is no coincidence. Someone wanted him not to testify. Self-defense with multiple shots to head and shoulder. Why leave the area if it was self-defense? His name came up on the news so now he feels like surrendering...
4
Having been in two events myself, LA Riots after Rodney King and the Loma Prieta Earthquake of 1989... You can't count on the police or fire to be there to help you in a big emergency and the National Guard will take days to mobilize once the Governor makes the call. It's like the Walking Dead and everything goes when the system breaks down like in New Orleans.

Quarter of the ranks...š It's not really deleted when you delete something unless you scrub it.
4
Yeah, same tech I seen out in California. They had signs stating radar endorced ny aircraft in the middle of the desert. Bet that pilot is logging a ton of flight hours.š Ohio has aggressive tailgating issue. You can be 5 over and they ride your bumper like its Nascar. Running Stop signs and red lights is a problem too. No way that would slide out West.
4
Someone is dumping out a lot of hyperbole. I donāt think Iām alone here. I came from Silicon Valley with 35 years experience, electronics, quality and software training and put resume out there. And Iām a veteran trained in radio and microwave. No interest. Nothing wrong with the resume but Iām a Vet, vaccinated, and a minority. That shouldnāt be any issue. I have all the receipts. One plastic company in Elyria didnāt want to even interview me for a temp position because I didnāt have enough āplasticā experience after taking all my credentials and background checks. I have knowledge of inspections across different builds and materials. I got a good chance at being hired at another company but that took a lot of interviewing and demo that I knew the basics. Like asking a math teacher if they know algebra or a doctor if they can find a pulse. Something is very wrong with those that are gatekeeping entry into those companies. (HR) In California, I would have got work in under a week not two months.š Iām semiretired and have excellent references. It maybe political because of BLM or they only want Republicans. IDK No room in the job market for that nonsense. šŗšø

Oh man, it's go to o see Ted Henry still kicking about. I grew up with Ted and the Morning and Afternoon Exchange. I miss everyone. šš

The bearded one that grabbed him was the arresting officer. The woman assisted being from the same unit and having a deputy badge. Pink handcuffs...cute. Sheriff's Department got a lot of explaining to do.
4
Sad... Only matter of time before ours goes under. Too bad E-ink didn't advance to have digital newspaper like Minority Report.
4
The law comes from the philosophy every dog has a bad day but an attack is an attack. If criminal charges donāt apply then they must go civil route and sue for damages and therapy for the child. I have a dog and heās well discipline Australian Cattle dog. He only barks when thereās trouble and great with kids and tiny dogs. It may all come down to the owner not being able to handle certain breeds.
4
Speeding drivers, aggressive tailgating including high beams at night when others are going the speed limit. Speeders love company. Worse willfully running Stop š signs and red lights long after it turns red. Hang out at 28th and Elyria Ave to see it in action. Like the Driver's manual was tossed out the window. Having been away for 40 years in California, it's shocking what people do here that would have you in court in California. It wasn't like that in the 80s when I left.
4
Absence of peer pressure by the "popular" kids played a role too. Environment at public schools forces genius overachievers to fall in line. Being young and mature usually means you don't have many friends.
3
Midway Mall could be use for chip manufacturing from Silicon Valley since California has power, water, environment regs, and high cost of living.
3
Itās due to Cyber Monday orders... These drivers are getting OT unless theyāre self employed.
3
People are routinely running STOP signs and Redlights at high speeds. Mostly those with modified cars... There's a persistent problems at W 28th and Elyria Ave (Czech Grill) with cars routinely running red lights speeding down 28th street. I've got into the habit of waiting a couple seconds after the light is green to cross on Elyria Ave.
3
Maybe that's where they got the idea. Breakin' Bad...FAIL

1:42 Correction: Ohio hasnāt recovered manufacturing workforce since 1980s with Reaganomics shutting down steel, shipbuilding and reduced car manufacturing. Buildings remain vacate and crime is up.
3
Wasn't it at another Papa John's in Ohio that this all started? Ending at a Papa John's in Indiana. Glad the baby was found before the arctic blast. Still seeing instigators and trolls trying to blame the mother for leaving them. How is a mother supposed to handle twins and a pizza? Picking up a pizza is a two minute affair. Like getting gas at the station... Would people leave their kids in the car to pay the cashier? š
3
How can this be okay for an officer to blindly fire into a fence without identifying what's on the other side... Worse for not identifying to the suspect their police. Finally, an officer job is one of risk so the "fear for his life" argument doesn't hold water. He shouldn't be an officer if he lets his fear govern his actions. I fear snakes doesn't mean I'm going to kill it regardless of it's nature. The Grand Jury got this one wrong.
3
Why? The title should include the word RAW Video if thereās little detail.
3
It's political with mostly Republican governors rapidly opening up... Seems coordinated... Not a coincidence..
3
Nopeā¦reads like a pet peeve than actual words to be banished like āMetaā orāghostingā¦. Lakewood has become irrelevant in picking words to ban.

They can enhance the lates and there seems to be more than one camera. Work fast foods for 30 years in San Diego as a send job and this is par for the course. People taking out their frustrations on minimum wage employees. Iāve been stabbed, lost teeth, racially attacked, punched with brace knuckles for just doing my job. Customers are always right. Obviously not. Iām back home in Ohio now and done with random fast food customers. Stay safe out there. Your eyes and your life isnāt worth salad, bread, or burgers no matter what management says. #minimumwage
3
Lie detection machines are no better than a coin flip. Some people are very good liars and can believe it enough to pass a polygraph. It may even give false positives for introverts intimidate being hooked up to one. This doesnāt eliminate the weights and stuffing catch with fish meat and even ice. An x-ray machine and more inspectors should be the answer here.
2
Ohio also seems to love drivers purposely defacing their license plates to hide their number. Either through sandblasting, white spray paint or simply putting a polarize plate cover over it to make it difficult for anyone including AI to read it.
