  2. This is why we can’t have nice things... While in California, I made it a point to avoid any area that have a history of violence like night clubs, certain concerts etc. It sucks but there are just too many hotheads and bullies out there trying to dominate people and each other. Seems the witness ran for cover but oddly ran out. My guess was he was running to get his gun.

How about they set the example and shut up and let the system decide instead of this public tantrum. After the arrest of Garcia in Scottsdale Arizona over a false Hit n Run charge and other questionable acts by officers across the nation like the Canton officer cleared after firing blindly through a wooden fence on New Year's Day killing James Williams without announcing themselves or identifying a target. There could have been kids and whole families behind that fence. You don't even do that in a combat theater because of friendly fire and civilian collateral damage Qualified immunity needs to be repealed or at least toned down.

When I was in California and recently moved by to my hometown, there were notices given and there were no questions when something was going to torn down. You just don’t get up one day and decide I’m going to demolish a house today. Communication is the key word here. Perhaps the city did it to prevent a legal stay on the order and it maybe a fruitless effort but that’s their right.

  8. Stupid people play stupid games and get stupid prizes. Maybe East Palestine will have some money from clean up to pay the court settlement for this obviously stupid mistake. Could have been just a warning but NO full take down and arrest. How is justice served? Must have been what life was like before the accident. Police shaking down people for no reason other than to send a message. Fact no one is owning up to the arrest but bail was made is enough for a law suit.

  10. Other malls still they've like Fashion Valley and Mission Valley Malls in San Diego. Midway Mall's issues are the surrounding strip malls it allowed to pop up around it with promises of cheaper rents and better control of opening hours. Reaganomics took the Mall's income when shipping and steel was wrecked by foreign competition. Amazon took what remained... When I worked at Camelot Music in the 80s, everyone opened and closed at the same time with the exception of the cinema.

The best answer is to leave them in the car seat. Faulting the mother in this isn't correct. You don't blame the victim for actions that happen without warning. I was a kid but still remember being in front of the set for Laugh-In watching his brother play that huge Double Bass while Tom played the guitar...😆 They were edgy and people laugh not like today when people will attack anyone joking about their politics. I was a food service worker for 30 years as 2nd job. I just returned to my hometown from San Diego where we are wearing gloves and masks the entire shift. When an outbreak occurs, the San Diego shuts down the faculty where the it occurs. Being in Ashland, it's a less populated area but all it takes is a traveler passing through to cause an outbreak and I imagine there are not enough ICU beds in the area. Why have a local heath department if they can't enforce ordinance. It's a hollow victory.

These youth have been indoctrinated and educated to be "empowered" to act this way in the name of racial justice, social media influences like TikTok, and foreign government influences. Cancel Culture, DEI, and LGBTQIA+ groups have further pushed the no-tolerance rules in education and disrespecting the flag. It's okay to be violent for the sake of "justice." Finally, Hollywood is most to blame for showing youths that crime is profitable with shows like Breaking Bad, Empire, reality shows and how easy it is to be a crime boss. Young people don't know fantasy from reality and their history started in 2010.

  18. Ramada Inn Headquarters is aware of it and doing nothing about it. Even if they are short handed, they should focus on keeping a small section ready to go with the others in light maintenance until they can get workers. No rooms should be given out without first checking it. Basic stuff. I hope they are shut down or a new owner takes over and fix this. Other hotels don’t seem to have this problem. Heath Dept can’t immediately close the hotel and have to go to another agency? Need to update the laws.

  26. 1:29 Did that driver make a risky lane change. Reckless,... Issues with Ohio drivers I see is they love to tailgate when I’m driving the speed limit or 5 miles above. This happens in all weather conditions an is a problem. California is bad but this is behavior is preventable. GPS and Sync software have bugs and issues that can distract drivers trying to fix them.

  27. That doesn't work. When I was in San Diego, they had Red Light cameras for three years before taking them down. The machines have too many false positives and would take pictures of people or a dog running across the street. Same with the speed system... too many issues. There needs to be a deputized human involved and not a unnamed person from some private company. You have the right to face your accuser doesn't work if it's a box of circuits. Leaving it to a computer to automatically send out tickets is just trolling for cash. Be prepared for litigations when the lawsuits and "not guilty pleas" come in. Lorain's Broadway is a miss to begin with. In the 70s, it was four lanes and now it has so many pedestrian bumps, its difficult for cars to leave and enter Broadway downtown.   28. I think she has a solid case here. Having shopped at Walmart and knowing how outdated their self checkout points are. One size exlarge carts and narrow lanes and pallets everywhere. No card TAP...really Walmart . Why wait weeks to arrest someone over $23. Why not right at the moment? Anyone shopping self checkout is at risk of arrest weeks later innocent or not. Because of this, I'm won't be shopping at Walmart regardless of the outcome. I don't feel comfortable with a risk of arrest weeks later because of technical issues.

  29. Use to work the Midway Mall as a teen... Camelot Records for those old enough. 😊 Midway Mall had issues with high rent, controlling store hours, and allowing strip malls to pop up beside them. First with defunk Gold Circle and Zayres and now these smaller shops. Mall should have bought up the land all around the mall to keep competition further away. Then there's the Amazon problem... Maybe have an Amazon pickup drop off location and walk in store. The other side of the mall can be health and concert venues. This is a long haul project and may take 10 years.

  32. That law won’t hold up to the SCOTUS. Cell 0hone videos have caught many officers violating citizens rights and not following policies. A further, officer turn off their body cams during active shootings. It’s unlawful interference when the guilty go free. Ohio just doesn’t want to deal with the law suits....too bad. If people do the right thing to begin with we wouldn’t have issues.

  33. Seems a simple matter. Don't rent out rooms that aren't cleaned. Staff shortages are everywhere but that doesn't excuse giving out rooms that the management knows haven't been clean. Cost per night is $122 night.

Review commission is corrupt and nothing more than a Dog 'n Pony show. All this over a "swatting" call on minorities. This is a growing trend of callers calling police on minorities doing nothing wrong. See something, say something has been taken to extremes.
