I would think that it would be responsible to a degree if they sleep in the car. I work at nights and I have to turn the engine on during breaks to either warm up or us the AC but not drive. Wonder if the car was a junk car would the police still charge for drunk driving for a drunk sitting in the driver seat. Ohio at least have some people in power with common sense.

Better Call Saul ...š Dumbest move ever... All that work wasted in an instant. As lawyers, they could have really helped their cause.

Itās a great outcome but itās one in thousands. This is why 23andMe (and others)are going bankrupt. People donāt like their genetic material being used for things other than family history and scientific research. Genetic companies have become the private sector of law enforcement collecting what the Government could not. Worse paying for itā¦

It's a list of books to read. Many of the books are not about the book but the author. Wasn't William C. Minor, a murderer, that helped start the Oxford Dictionary. The movie Idiocracy predicted this. I'm worried that it will spread to other states. They are being pulled for review until after the Presidential elections.

During tours Twitter has nap rooms and relaxing areas. Likely, someone figure it would be better to just live at the job instead of paying $2300 for a 1 bdrm. This was there before Musk took over.

I wonder what the lead time for the records to be filed and updated are in Youngstown. š® Previous, legal actions like warrants tend not to be updated for weeks if at all leading to raids based on stale data. If it was me and I just bought the property, I would proactively call the records and city to insure everything is working as it should. Too many chances for someone not doing their job and following all the steps in the process. Reminds me of Boeingā¦

Sounds more like an issue for Facebook then a legal matter. Maybe Facebook needs a verify check account.

I'm 60 years old and a former Marine Humvee driver. I can drive gard and fast when crap hits the fan....š Never had an accident or wreck...

Your land and property isn't really your land and property. Says the government...

Wonder what am FCC field agent pays. The suspect but didn't search the property. How can they fine some one on suspension? Equipment that good? During my time in the Marines, I once used a water tower to reflect my signal to contact Base. I extended my range a long ways... CO couldn't believe it. I told him it was in the field expedient manual.š RTFM š

I hate when persecutors and police claim immunity because "based on the facts before them at the time and acting in good faith..." Innocent people are locked away...
2
Bachelor and a Master Degree and don't get it. Seem there maybe an issue with the officers since they lack discipline. Cop gangs are out there running rouge.

And 26Ā¢...š

I was alive then and it was during the urban cowboy fad that country anything was on TV. In the opening credit, you can see the General Lee landing and destroying its suspension. The doors were welded so they had to crawl throw the windows since it was a race car. It was nonsense fun running from corrupt Boss Hog and the sheriff. I had a 1972 340 4 Barrael Dodge Dart Swinger...Neon Green before it was an 80's fad and original air scoops. Gas mileage was 10 miles/gallon. If I win the lottery, I want it. I had to sell it before leaving the state but it had a good home racing at the local racetrack.

Sloppy police work⦠They act like robots with no common sense sometimes. š®

I don't like HP because they don't use all the ink in the cartridge. The ink will print only some many sheets before it needs a new one. The cartidges would be fould to be still a quarter full... HP like others (Epson) stop printing all together until all the color ink cartridges are full. No matter if you just want a black, white, or gray sheet. and only need Black ink. It's worse with laser printers. Apple Airprint adds signicantly to the cost of printers.
2
Listening to the Public somehow morphed into surveillance and reporting. The school board actively contacted employers to fire opponents just like a Twitter mob. I suspect more suits in the future.

There is a scam if the seller is paying people overseas so they appear to buy stuff and leave 5 Star reviews. They are verified purchases. Then the seller will do a switch to a more expensive items and keep the awesome reviews they paid for. Very odd that Amazon would allow this to go on so long. Amazon has got sloppy after the lockdown.

EU members have very restrictive copyrights like building architecture photos online.

It should be law to have removal batteries instead of gluing them in place. I have perfectly good phones I had to toss because the battery faded.
2
Anonymous tips have caused so many people misery and lawsuits violating people's rights it should be a rule to put your name to narcing someone.
2
Wow, I would hate to be a mechanic or someone is just moving the car out of the garage a few feet. Insane. I see people putting hacks in place to overcome the "feature."
2
Having served in the Marines for 10 years, I can say it's a hard life. The culture itself is on the cusps of being a cult for good reason. It's like the NFL. You're only as good as your last PFT and Pros/Cons. Get injured or stray from the Corps' standards and you're cut and not allowed to reenlist. I stopped carrying any cash above $30 (tips, meters, etc). I make all my payments by card or phone.

Ohio had a man on motorcycle going 143 mph last Memorial Day. In the military, they teach use to āsaveā our vehicles until theirs a real emergency. Donāt run them into the ground all the time. Must have been running away from the zombie apocalypse...š
2
Seems excessive... I see it being reviewed later and reduced. People convicted of murder got less time.
2
Reverse Engineering something is legal .. Just look to IBM clone PCs in the 80s. Cookie suit sounds like a personal issue with the owners.
2
Small town cops are not very smart and will escalate fen minor things. I witnessed it first hand with a very minor accident that only cracked a headlamp. Four police cars came racing with lights and sirens. They then tried intimidating me with citation and being a Marine told them you didnāt witness anything to write it and the other driver left so youāll have to follow through and charge them with leaving the scene of an accident. That got dropped in a hurry because it was the copās mother and she didnāt have insurance. The days of honest folks like Mayberry are gone. Itās all about power and control.

Military entry require fingerprinting.

Bill Gates wouldnāt make such a mistake⦠During his time, there were so many āBill Gates clonesā working it looked like a cult. Everyone was trying to look and act like Bill Gates. Sony will of course lose that suit on Activision.
2
I've seen convertibles with top down parked... š

Iāve loss all confidence in Ohio after moving back. Not what they use to be in the 70s⦠People of Mayberry RFD had more sense than these politicians and officials.š
2
Humans can come up with all kinds of fantasies in their heads that are simply not true. They feared for their lives and fired their weapons in self defense...because they feared something would happen. I blame Hollywood with shows like Breaking Bad for putting ideas in people's heads. Cash and carry aren't illegal but the police are highway robbers. Until the SCOTUS gets around to fixing the mess caused by the Reagan Administration.
2
WGCL callsign use to belong to Cleveland radio great G98 in the 70s and 80s featuring the Late Uncle Vic on nights. When I heard Steve mention the letters, it brought back memories.š

How much does an average 14 year old weigh?

Seems the New Mexico and Texas police knew they had the wrong person and that he was a lawsuit waiting to happen. They hoped he was a nobody and that he would just disappear when released. Out of sight out of mind.

Apple did it! Doesnāt matter since Federal law will make it so. Law should be made to bring back swappable batteries for cellphones to reduce E-waste. Getting the parts and removing software blocks that disable features are the problem. Making repairs just to change a battery can be a tedious task as shown in Hue Jefferies repair videos.
1
And they will likely get law enforcement immunity. This really started with Ronald Reagan to take money from crimes and finance law enforcement. Virtually all money has drugs or chemicals on them so this flawed process should be stopped immediately. Law enforcement across the country are scheming to cease cash for personal gains is concerning. Just like the armored truck seizure... Politicians at Capitol Hill are asleep. What would it take for the, to wake up and take a look at this?

California has similar restrictions on storm drains. Where I had worked only rainwater was allowed in storm drains and we couldnāt even dump air condition condensation into the drain. The city has detectors and can figure out where it can from. Huge fines...

Thereās weird stuff like that on the Dark Web. Wonder how many other āshowsāwere held around the country...š¤

Is it the reason for Australian Police heavy handed tactics roughly arresting those not wearing masks with a medical excuse or eating a meal...š

It all still worked out with the Go Fund Me page gathering over $65,000 for the seven employees. Not bad for a weekend. I think the judge made a bad call to resolve the issue but he probable felt that it can wait the weekend.
1
Seems more legal controversies coming out of Alabama and Louisiana lately... Florida must be glad not to be the center of Media scrutiny.
1
Seems like it was more the fact the person was Transgender.... Disturbing that it went on that long and the officers are still employed.

Should ha e had a military funeral.šŗšø

Fine seems small if the person having the trees cut is wealthy. In the end, he pays the fine and got his view if NYC... To him, it was a good deal.

Hearing it both ways⦠Wonāt be the last we hear about it. Iām sure some phones can be remotely wiped if lost.

Otis the Mayberry drunk would be serving 100 years. No one died or was killed is it is strict to sentence for 40 years.
1
I would think that if itās a historical ridge it would be on the stateās historical landmark registry and protected. Shouldnāt the state or the Feds make the city pay to restore the bridge. It seems an abuse of powers. City needs to set the example. I would also suggest a GoFundMe to fix satisfy the debt. If the city schools or vehicles were damage by vandalism, they would make the offender pay restitution for damages.
1
Sports would be an exception. Otherwise hard fouls and sacking the quarterback would be assaulted and battery.
