  4. Biden, Austin, and Milley are doing what is legal, but it isnt moral. They are using Ukraine to hurt Russia and are happy to do so because it only costs them money, not US lives. Austin actually said this last year when he said "this is an opportunity to degrade Russia's military". Those were his exact words. Russia has a right to respond to the threat of US Aegis Ashore missiles, currently in Poland and Romania, one day being moved into Ukraine, giving Russia no time to react to a NATO first strike. Westerners believe NATO is benign---"defensive only"---but this is propaganda. It is a military alliance and like any such alliance it exists to crush its enemies in war. It exists to win.

Do people know his generals and the US told him not to try to hold Bakhmut, he overrode them and 50K Ukrainians died over 9 months fighting for that city that is now lost to Russia? Do people know he is demanding FIFTY Patriot batteries (he was given three, only one now remains as Russia destroyed the other two) or he will refuse to attend any future NATO summit? Zelensky is behaving like a man who knows he is doing the boss' dirty work, and now wants to increase his compensation as the work is proving to be far more "dirty" than either of them thought it would ever be. America has a history with leaders like that; the most recent was named Saddam Hussein....

  24. Biden is rushing to send the remaining $6B of weapons on hand, plus about $2B unspent they issued orders to vendors, all in attempt to get it out the door before Trump is sworn in. After the election results, this is clearly not what the Will of The People have demanded, right? So, this is the DEMs being DEM: do what we want, who cares what our fellow citizens think. I hope Trump can stop the shipments; because all they will do is delay the inevitable, result in more casualties for ZERO impact on the outcome. It is also very risky; if the Zelensky government collapses suddenly those brand new weapons will be in arms markets all over the planet within weeks.

  31. I look at many articles over the past month or two and most (outside of the Western "bubble" media like BBC/CNN etc.) saw this coming all along. Virtually all military commenters said there is no way Ukraine can defeat Russia in direct armed conflict; some commenters were saying this in September, 2022. Everyone is now aware of all the reasons they cited: lack of ammo, lack of air power, lack of artillery, lack of tanks, lack of manpower. Now, that all can see these commenters were 100% correct in their assessment, why do so many think another weapon will make any difference? Why does it seem like Biden wants to win this war more than Ukraine does?

  33. The Ukraine war was over 18 months ago; Russia is now producing 75,000 FAB guided bombs per year----does anyone believe that is for Ukraine? They are already pulverizing Ukraine for the past year just using 12,000 such bombs per year. That is for EUROPE. They are fully aware the Brits and French really want to get into it with them; they've been preparing for the next war for over two years. The best EU can do is arm up so they don't look like a fat salmon to the Bear; and hope that keeps the peace for the next 50 years.

  36. I am waiting to judge until I see what Russia's response to NATO opening up their weapons on Russian soil will be. If there is no responding escalation, Russia is doomed as I said even two years ago, the longer the war goes on, the more it favors NATO. NATO and Russia are like two mafias fighting over Ukraine as their "turf". They both must avoid complete open war, as the mayor, the police chief, Feds, would come down hard on everyone and then both sides lose. However, they must respond to each others' escalations in a way that sends a message. NATO just sent Russia a new "message"; have to see what the response will be...."

It took a month for American news outlets to bring themselves to admit Bakhmut had been taken; weeks went by with everyone else on the planet admitting it, with Wagners having dance parties in, on, and around the entire city, before finally CNN could mouth the words "fallen". The video record of Russian attacks in this war is voluminous and staggering, most of which is never aired in Western MSM. A few days ago, Russia put FOUR Iskanders into an area the size of a Home Depot store, from 500 km away. The whole thing recorded by Orlan drone....each glowing projectile moving so fast it looked just like orbital bombardment shots from an Imperial Star Destroyer.

  40. True, but US Army didn't have thermobaric shells falling on their heads the whole time... Those will kill everyone in every vehicle or building no matter what armor or cover. Those near the blast are obliterated. Those farther away the vacuum will suck the air out your lungs and you suffocate before the pressure wave blows out your eardrums; being inside a vehicle or structure makes it worse. It will be a horrible way for Ukrainians to die.

Now, when he knows it is not the desire of the majority, Biden chooses to call Putin's bluff and risk a war he has zero Congressional Authorization for. Not only that, he does it in such a nakedly political, craven, last-minute way so that he will personally avoid much of the fallout (political, hopefully not literal).
