  5. Just saw the video tearing up the Telegram channels today of not one, but two Patriot command systems on a road near Pakrovsk that were in a convoy moving at night and hit by an Iskander. The detonation was spectacular, obliterating two Patriot command systems (with entire crew). That is about TWO BILLION dollars gone in an instant. Marco may need to re-think his words because even the United States is not wealthy enough to continue losing $2B a day in Ukraine.

Unless AFU has been officially declared a Branch of the US Armed Forces (and that is VERY possible as we are paying all their police/fire/govt/miltary salaries and pensions), the only military "interfered" with was a foreign one to which no American owes allegiance. It is our CHOICE whether we support helping Ukraine or not.

  13. Maybe by 2044, kids will be normal again. We can only hope. About 10 years ago many Gen X women I grew up with started hitting the 40s "wall"; and more than a few said if they had it to do over again, they'd have been happier being a housewife. Spend lots of time with your babies, not just drop them off at daycare; go to PTA meetings, band/dance/cheer/sports, make hubby happy by having a steak cooked for him at 530pm, etc. They felt like that would have been easier and more rewarding than 20 of corporate climbing that all you have at age 45 is a big empty house, and a fancy leased car. No husband, kids (if you were lucky) that hate you, and no grand-babies.

  32. Once hope is lost, it becomes every man for himself. Once the "Grand Spring Offensive" failed, that was it. If $100B in NATO weaponry can't get you more than five miles beyond a Russian defense in ONE sector, pushing 300,000 Russian troops out is not even remotely feasible. Its pure fantasy; negotiate an armistice. When the collapse comes, every unused NATO weapon will disappear overnight.

Those of us not named "Jeffrey Sachs" cannot even state his initial response in any Western Media (or even on YouTube) without it being deleted, us being called "traitors", etc. simply because we disagree with Biden Administration policy in Ukraine. To me, THAT is the greatest damage this debacle has done to the US; our ability to disagree with our government without negative sanction has basically been destroyed by the Democrat Party and its allied media outlets. Ukraine is physically destroyed; one of our foundational pillars is destroyed; both countries will rue this foreign policy disaster for a hundred years.

Only $15B is actually for weapons and ammo---less than half. Right now the highway leading west out of Kharkiv has both sides filled with cars; only one lane is heading into the city. It is like a scene from an alien invasion movie; people fleeing the oncoming Russian steamroller. Guided bombs are now falling on Kharkiv for the first time, meaning RU aircraft can fly to within 60km with no fear of Patriot because the Patriots have been destroyed. This is an unwinnable war , and has been since its inception. Everyone knows this but no one dares to say it for fear of being "cancelled".
