  2. At this point NATO is basically removing the "proxy" completely; they aren't even hiding it with US Global Hawk providing targeting data and UK Storm Shadow the strike package. Russia has stated clearly for over a decade, they will use nuclear weapons to prevent loss of Crimea. So, either NATO doesn't believe them, or NATO believes it can "win" a nuclear war with Russia. As a child of the 80s, that terrifies me, but apparently a new generation is now in charge of NATO and they see things differently. I hope they are right.

  3. I'm 48 and for a person my age or older, it is very, VERY difficult to accept that the GOP is the anti-war party and the DEM party are the bloodthirsty war-mongering vampires. It is astounding-----almost unbelievable. When I was a teenager, the EXACT opposite was true.

  4. Russia better have 10 tanks for every one Ukraine is allowed to have in any armistice agreement. The United States will never honor any agreement for long. Just like with the Aegis Ashore missiles the US puts in Poland and says "oh, these are defensive only", America will ALWAYS try to find a way to destroy Russia.
