That one night vision vid look like orbital bombardment shots from a Star Destroyer turbolaser. We've seen krasnopol shells hit at night, and the projectiles in this vid are moving much faster than a 152mm artillery shell.

Churchill wanted to kick Russia out of what would later become East Germany as well as Poland in 1945, if they resisted he wanted Truman to use the Bomb on them. Luckily, Truman had enough of war and wanted nothing to do with that; he felt it was better to just play the long game and try to limit the spread of Communism.
2
I looked and can find no reference to Zelensky saying that in Ramstein. If the did say that, it would be headline news around the world and there'd be no way for NATO to suppress it. Anyone have a link to it?
2
By publicly blaming North Korea for supplying (apparently the KN-23 tactical missile) to Russia, and then showing video of them (two hits!) turning a fueling facility and several tanker trucks into a blazing inferno, the United States has tacitly confirmed that NK missiles are capable of hitting a building the size of a Home Depot from 400 km away.
2
I really am getting tired of these people always complaining because THE BIGGER ARMY IS BEATING THE SMALLER ONE!!
2
They SAID they'd do it a few months ago, but clearly it takes time (and the right time of year) for offensives. So, their INTENT was long ago, their ACTION is what you see now.
2
That new Russian weapon looks like the stuff Thanos' warship was firing at the Avengers.
2
Its like the Rebels vs. the Empire. Sometimes the Rebels succeed in tying up the legs of an AT-AT walker
2
CNN has an interview up with a Ukrainian soldier wearing a baseball cap with a Reichsadler on it.... They are so tied to their propaganda they cant even see they are talking to a Nazi
2
You can take your 'woke" politics and shove it. Any nation that puts their women into trenches on the front lines is a nation that does not deserve to endure.
2
Tornado-S rocket carried 500 lb. HE fragmentation warhead. Within 20m (60+ feet) radius severe damage, instant death; out to 100m (300+ feet) fragments penetrate humans, trucks, light armor. You can see blast effects almost the entire length of the train. Anyone on that train is a casualty; either dead or injured. Any vehicle below a tank is heavily damaged to lightly damaged. Also, its very unlikely Russia would send only one rocket as rockets are cheap. That train and everyone on it is gone.
2
Itβs called negotiation. The first offer from both sides is always unrealistic; this position is where the bargaining starts
2
This was the super battleship Yamato, with only enough fuel for a one-way trip to Okinawa to engage in glorious battle with the US Navy fleet. Which at this time was 28 aircraft carriers, 23 battleships, 71 escort carriers, 72 cruisers, over 232 submarines, and 377 destroyers. Yamato had an even chance at victory...."
2
No way. The Zelensky government will NEVER surrender. They are in this to whatever end. When Zelensky goes, it will be "Fuhrer bunker style".
2
I commented that the increased pace is due to Trump and the imminent end to hostiles and YT deleted it. NYTimes does this too. It's not my war, but nothing angers me more than US media censorship because we "speak" contrary to the party in power. Revolutions start that way...
2
Binkovs Battlegrounds (utterly shameless NATO shill) today: "Why are Ukraine's defenses failing?" I answered, and got 4 angry replies before he gave up and deleted the comment. π€£
2
RU took back 15% in one day-------NOT A WORD IN CNN/BBC/SKY .
2
The true believers on CNN/BBC/DW/FRANCE24 are really having a tough time accepting reality today. On CNN YT channel anything saying "don't escalate" gets deleted, while any comment saying "lift all restrictions" gets hundreds of likes. It is really hard to believe most Americans want to attack Russia, but that's because it isn't really true. YT helping to shape public perception of opinion...."
2
WTF is wrong with people keep asking this question?? FAB-500 falling 100 times a day all across the front for two weeks or more now. What, does Russia have to call you personally when every Su-34 takes off??
2
My guess is trolling by RU, because they know something like that will be howled about on CNN/BBC/FRANCE24 tomorrow while they shudder with laughter. All those vids of "NK troops" over the weekend now proven to be the usual Budanov lies so if/when the NK's do come, no one knows for sure what manner it will take.
2
The propaganda BS is flying but what I do know is Zelensky and NATO are as scared as I've seen them since March, 2022. I said four days ago Biden Administration response shows they didn't plan for this and are not really sure what to do.
2
If Zelensky loses the army, he may get Mussolini-ed....
2
US and especially UK have really stepped up their "assistance" , they are not even trying to hide their intelligence and targeting data being sent directly to AFU. Russians overheard crew of Krab artillery speaking in Polish. NATO is at war with Russia, and it doesn't seem there are any limits other than "none of our help can be used to attack Moscow". That is all that stands between the current situation and we all die in thermonuclear fire.
2
Without Zelensky, Zaluzhny, Budanov, etc. and the other high-ranking nationalists?
2
What a story. It has happened so many times now in the past two years that it simply cannot be objectively denied. Putin always pays his debts....and promptly. Used Zelensky to locate the forces responsible for the ship attacks. Wow.
2
Other bloggers say that is the Lancet's new warhead specifically designed to defeat heavy armor. That jet is the tungsten dart being driven into the tank creating a cloud of plasma (and turning everything and everyone inside into slag instantaneously).
2
The Ka-52s were out hunting, but they mostly hunt at night. π
2
All those towns in Dnipro area are like 250+ km from the front. What UAV asset Russia using that can just sit in the sky and observe that deep into Ukraine to hit Mig-29s and S-300 like that? My guess is Orlan-30 as the older version I don't think had that kind of range
2
Both leader admit they cant win , yet they won't admit they are beaten. Zelensky over here asking for F-18s, Apaches, THAAD, a Ford class carrier, etc. what the hell drugs is he on?? Just make AFU the 6th branch of US then....
2
Every one of these updates I just see "Kursk 1943" all over again. I just can't help it as it looks so similar tactically. The technology has changed, but that doesn't mean the lessons from 80 years ago are any different as BOTH sides have the same tech. Russia has all the time in the world, while Ukraine is on the clock. In the south, Russia doing typical "bend don't break" strategy, trading some land for time. Unless Ukraine advances on the flanks, that one salient cannot go very deep or it will simply be attacked on the flanks and destroyed. In the north, all those rocket launchers (and reloaders!) means they are going lay down some serious firepower as those look like the serious 220mm launchers with 20+ mile range.
2
BBC has big article up today on all the Ukrainian men who fled the country to escape the trenches. Smart guys, imho. If someone invades the US to make us all slaves, I fight to the death to be free. If Mexico invades just to take back the parts of CA and TX that are 99% Mexican like Los Angeles or Brownsville? Ehhh, maybe I don't bother fighting them.
2
TWO S-300s with one missile. AFU fools to place them so close together...
2
Everyone lies in war, in equal measure.

There is a pro-Ukraine channel with an American former military veteran; he is very pro-Ukraine, but he doesn't push fantasy. The mood and comments there are very somber; they realize they are doomed. Lots of anger at NATO for slow or no weapons, blaming and finger-pointing. I want to gloat and say "I told you so!!" , but I feel bad doing so as I , like most Americans, never had any ill will towards Ukraine. I hate seeing their male population decimated. I'm angry at Biden, Blinken, Nuland, and Johnson.
2
If RU took out another Patriot that is a big deal. Patriot is probably the greatest single NATO weapon system in demand right now; more than ATACMs, Storm Shadow, Abrams tanks, etc. Its air defense, then everything else; its so bad even the US don't have a full system to spare---they trying to cobble one together with launchers/radar/control module all from different countries. A lot of US media reports Israel is going to send up to 8 old Patriot systems to Ukraine because even UK news admits F-16 will be wiped out on the ground if they don't cover the bases with Patriot/NASMs. The $2.3B of more aid Joe Biden just announced is mostly Patriot missiles but they have to be produced so they are weeks away. Personally, I don't think any of that will make much difference; it is not clear Patriot can stop an Iskander...both sides say completely opposite things as to whether it can or not. Even if Patriot can stop Iskander half the time, there are far more Iskanders than Patriots so eventually the Iskanders will win.
2
as crazy as it sounds, you are more right than wrong. This was also Prigozhin's great frustration with Putin; Putin tries to walk the line with NATO, but NATO does not walk the line with Putin. However, Putin been in power over 20 years; I give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to which path to choose, even if I don't agree...."
2
Ukraine FPV vid targeting a Bradley???
2
I bet some T-54/55 got in on the action massacring that AFU armored attack. 100 mm HE from 1953 will kill any IFV from 2023. π
2
West Media doing the usual: pouring on the daily propaganda this time about North Korean soldiers in Russia. Almost a million soldiers from both sides engaged and the West flipping out due to 3000 more?
2
What if they can? You think Russia is going to run out of missiles and artillery shells?
2
In so many ways Ukraine reminds me of Germany in 1945. Still dangerous, but no realistic ability to stop the enemy offensives. No air cover at all for their ground forces. Low on ammo, fuel, and hardware. Most of all, a fanatically ultra-nationalist leader that would rather die resisting than admit defeat.
2
That took what, a day or two?? Is Chasiv Yar heavily fortified?
2
RU need to stop behaving like AFU tiktok warriors and posting all their social media stuff. Both sides basically have spies all over each other's territory as they've been cousins for 1500 years.
2
Remember six months ago Ukraine and the West teasing Russia about using "cope cages" against FPV drones? Half the AFU vehicles seen being blown up yesterday in Zaporizhzhia had----you guessed it----cope cage. Doesn't seem to help for side shot by ATGM tho....ππ
2
Ouch!! Gonna need more than a Band-Aid at 8:57 ....
2
@maxwolf8055 Ok, that's not enough to counter-attack unless they are part of a larger force.
2
For Kirby to directly address this specific type of NK weapon (when everyone already knows NK shells artillery rockets are being provided), means US is very concerned. At first I thought maybe the NK KN-25 MLRS had showed up
2
So Shoigu ALLOWED AFU to mass in Krinky to lure them into a larger operation, THEN he unleashed the night-vision drones? So Russia tunneled under the AFU strongpoint, and set off explosives (just like in US Civil War 160 years ago) to blow a hole in their defenses? Tactically, Russia has been dominating Ukraine all year.
2
Drone biggest weakness is control signal can be jammed. Once the drones can fly themselves through trees and under tents, its over. Skynet is reality.
2
US DoD now admits "Spring Offensive" has failed, is now planning for a restart in the Fall. The "Peace" summit in Jeddah, was instigated by the US in March/April, and timed to coincide with what was hoped would be significant Ukrainian gains by now, will obviously either be canceled or be a waste of time. In other words, Biden hoped by now Russia would be on her knees, and Jeddah would be where he and his lapdog Zelensky would dictate terms to a humiliated Putin. I guess we'll all be back here in November after Russia has smashed all the Abrams tanks. See ya'll then! π
