I've always believed the T-80 could handle any Leopard 2 or Challenger as those are essentially all 80s era models that more or less cancel each other out. All have APFSDS rounds with tungsten or DU penetrators so they are all capable of killing each other. I'm really excited to see if Ukraine can actually reach a main defense line as I want to see an entrenched T-55 destroy a Leopard 2 or Bradley. That would be really funny.
12
Both sides are fighting like lions, on paper one is vastly stronger, but in reality they are closely matched
12
Poles don't like it when RU cruise missiles use their airspace as a waypoint to enter Ukraine from directions their defense is not expecting. π
12
LMAO. Shoigu (a man of very few words) gets on a call with the French FM, and 24 hours later ALL the hawkish countries publicly howling about going into Ukraine suddenly change their tune. I can't wait to hear what Shoigu said though we won't know until 2030 or so.
12
155mm shells, stingers, NASAMS, HIMARS, ATACMS, Bradleys, MRAPs. I mean they will help but RU been fighting all that for years and it never stopped them.
12
We all know this. France a few months ago cried how much grain RU would control if they kept Ukraine. Democracy my behind; it's all about money as usual
11
Lol. In 2015 Congressional Aid Packages to Ukraine had language expressly forbidden from any money or weapons going to Azov Brigade. There was obviously evidence then, but now in 2024, with AFU being steamrolled, suddenly no "evidence" of them being Nazis. πππ

He is military so he is fair game. No surprise here. The US hunted down Adm. Yamamoto's plane and blew it out of the sky for the same reason: he's the mastermind of the enemy armed forces.
11
Crimea has over 50 Pantsir systems; nothing that flies getting through there
11
I have zero problem with this; what are you supposed to do when you capture an enemy in war? Give him coffee and donuts before allowing him to put on a suit before you escort him to the luxury SUV that will take him to the POW camp???
11
Ahh the latest and greatest NATO wunderwaffe for RU to figure out a counter to in a few weeks.
11
He chose poorly in 2022. No one made him walk away from the deal. Typical loser blames others for his OWN choice
11
He is panicking; no other explanation for him to blurt that out and embarrass himself. It's too late for Ukraine now anyway, even if US approved more aid, the first shell wouldn't get to Ukraine until April. Russia took two more towns yesterday, that's 5 towns in a week. That's why Macron is flipping out
11
So they finally got some from that huge collection that guy had in Belgium? I bet he made a HUGE profit. Note to self: when obsolete war machine go on fire sale, buy all you can. Someone will need them someday. Weapons are the greatest single investment any human can make.
10
I laugh at how the West trembles at the very mention of the name "Wagner". However, they earned their street cred: they defeated a NATO army in the largest urban battle since World War 2. You cannot overstate that.
10
LOL. Zelensky wants to make sure Ukraine doesn't get nuked.
10
Six Patriot systems is $8.5 billion Not even the US has that just sitting between the sofa cushions
10
This Winter, the "snow" that will fall on Ukraine will be 3,300 lb high explosive snowflakes.
10
This is like that scene in "Bourne Legacy" come to life. Crazy times we living in.
10
The video of the Kinzhal hits last week coming out are amazing. They are glowing plasma-sheathed bolts from the sky that literally look like turbo laser shots from a Star Destroyer
10
If I lived in Kyiv, I'd make sure I lived far from any airport or government buildings. If I lived in London, I'd be planning my move to a vacation home in Manchester....
9
Peskov and Lavrov have been very clear: Russia is prepared for NATO involvement. They have the troops reserve, the tactical nukes just demonstrated last week, they are ready if NATO jumps in
9
Lol, Stryker thinner skinned than Bradley. Russia burn them with ease
9
I hear the bonus for taking out the Abrams is double that of Leopard 2 or Challenger 2.
9
Wagner are the biggest winners of this war. No matter what, if Prigozhin survives, he will have more contracts than he could handle in 100 years
8
Yeah but they still in that same exact spot for 10 days now. Can't make this isht up....."
8
These Western leaders are doing THEIR will, not the will of their people.
8
Putin is my kind of guy: "I bow to no one."
8
Like all 9B humans on the Earth didn't know that was gonna happen in response to Biden sending Ukraine cluster shells.
8
Two weeks for Storm Shadow to go from "game changer" to "just another Ukrainian rocket to shoot down"...
8
If I could upvote 1000x on this I would.
8
This is like a basketball game in 4th quarter and RU up 30 on Ukraine with 4 minutes left, and RU still got starters in taking 3-pointers....
8
Some get through, but not enough to matter. Storm Shadow is $2M each, AFU has fired at least 10 of them several times at the Crimea bridge over the past few months, yet there the bridge is right now not a mark on it. Why? All the Storm Shadows shot down that's why.
8
Now THAT is hilarious!!! πππ Karma.
7
ATACMS is a longer range HIMARS; of course they'd eventually shoot some down
7
some, yes, but not all. Especially in the south where AFU has no troops left, it only takes two or three guys to make it to an empty trench for RU to take an entire square km.
7
"sticky bomb" attack from Saving Private Ryan
7
LOL. It spikes oil prices but does nothing to stop the Russian steamroller. The fires are put out, the damage fixed and nothing changes, while RU takes city after city after city.
7
"Orientation training"??? LOL!! If a Ukrainian pilot manages to get airborne, Russia will swat him out of the sky within minutes. Ukraine will have to park the planes inside a mountain as Russia watches ALL airports 24/7 and will Lancet or Iskander them the moment they see them. Sweden don't want to be the latest NATO member to be made a fool of. πππ
7
βΒ @robertscott961Β Leave Ukraine to US and UK and allow them to dominate Russia? RU has the right to live free of threats
7
Well duhh!! Its unwinnable and your death is almost guaranteed if you go sit in a trench and try to stop Storm-Z!!!
7
These RU conscripts are all 18/19 yr old boys posted in "quiet" sectors. RU wants them back....."
7
Take it all Russia. Take it all
7
Does killing five boats make a pilot an Ace?
7
No amount of training can prepare soldiers for the real thing; if this is true it benefits both NK and Russia. SK says they are "1500 special forces", of course you have to be willing to believe SK. Imagine getting 1500 Green Berets; they already know how to shoot, drive vehicles, use a wide array of arms, but they have zero experience (especially their officers). Russia gets additional, already-trained manpower, while North Korea gains real combat experience for its elite forces. Something they can get nowhere else, and the experience for their junior officers and NCOs which are the backbone of any army, will be invaluable to NK.
6
Never let an opponent get up. --- Mike Tyson, 1990
6
RU took and held the territory; losing 12 tanks is just the price of victory
6
Biden is like the Emperor in Star Wars. All the wars all over the Galaxy have his hand in them....
6
Now THAT is hilarious. Can you imagine an American supercarrier hit or sunk a month before the election??
6
LOL. US/UK help Zelensky invade Kursk, but then a month later when RU starts kicking AFU out of Kursk, Zelensky says "see? I need long range weapons or we will be booted out of Kursk!!!" You cannot make this stuff up."
