You will never in a thousand years see such a headline in the West.
1
"Forced to fight" in title, then "signed up for support jobs in the Russian Army" in the vid. LOL. What did they think would happen?? You joined the Army and OK, they say you will only drive a fuel or ammo truck, but in battle the fuel or ammo truck is a TARGET! πππ
1
US on it's way to sanctioning half the planet
1
Smart. Like Zaluzhny and Budanov, etc. Start taking out the braintrust around Zelensky as well. This stupid unnecessary war has gone on long enough.
1
Anyone else find it crazy that Joe Biden is the one that has to be talked OUT of war with everyone???
1
LOL. He announced this back in October...they just DOING it now.
1
"May"??? Lol
1
It does appear that some powerful people in the West are just itching to go to war with Russia. They thought a proxy war using Ukraine would be easy but Russia is proving far more resilient. To win requires fully trained NATO forces but they know they cant do it because the minute American sons and daughters start getting chewed up by Russian rockets public support for the war will disappear.
1
NATO and the US allies' don't really understand how important this is personally to Biden, and generally to his Democrat Party. If Russia wins or comes out of this with most of what it wants, the DEMs will be destroyed in the next election.
1
I actually would find that believable if not for Wagner killing Russian servicemen.
1
Didn't know that but what's so surprising? In US we have 20 towns named "Moscow"
1
LOL. Same thing Russia said to Biden/Zelensky about three weeks ago at the U.N. Likely same result....
1
This guy is so annoying; if I had some F-16s I'd give them to Russia.
1
20Kms further away this time....too far for spying. Biden got the message....
1
OMG this guy. There were only FOUR possible avenues for an attack to accomplish what BBC/CNN/NYT was telling the whole world for months was the goal. Wall Street Journal had an expert analyze all four possible routes and Zaporizhzhia or Kherson were the two most likely. Russia not stupid, they can see everything we can see (and a lot more). Russia didn't move troops until around July when it became clear that Zaporizhzhia was not a diversion attack. Then they shifted 40,000 to Tokmak sector and beat the tar out of AFU.
1
Best defense is good offense; if you know where Ukraine is massing for an attack, you attack them there first.
1
How the West gonna get between Russia and Ukraine when they are the same land?
1
If you don't control the land you live on, nor your own money, then you are a SLAVE.
1
Why the surprise? They were just there to "protest" and "things got out of hand", right? That worked in America, why not in Russia?
1
Wars always reach the peak of their nastiness right before they end; in 1939 Hitler was content to just deport Jews, by 1945 he was cooking them like they were rump roasts. We are entering the "unrestricted monstrosity" phase of this war...
1
They are actually "Neolib" now...
1
Who the hell would get on a flight into/out of a war zone???
1
Β @Eventual-VisitorΒ Not that I'd put it past them, but NATO can do that now via military flights.
1
EU knows their history, that is how WW1 started. Everyone jumping in to "help" their ally....
1
Everyone knows this. Biden and his Democrat Party cannot allow Putin to settle the war in any way that is favorable to him. Rememer Biden a year ago? "This man cannot remain in power!" Even if Ukraine wants to talk, the US won't let them.
1
Just as American blogger Scott Ritter said------six months ago....
1
The Patriots are either destroyed or out of ammo. Keep the pressure on Russia; have to end this in 2023.
1
I don't blame Putin at all. ICC is an arm of NATO and NATO is in open war with Russia. If the enemy threatens your leader, it makes sense to threaten them back, no?
1
NATO deserves what it is getting; they been the aggressor all through since 2014. I can't wait to vote Biden out, and hopefully other countries vote out Stoltenberg, Macron, Scholz and all the ones who did this...."
1
NATO knew there would be a response to their escalation did they not? Of course they did; just no one is sure what it will be. We shall soon see...."
1
Russia started their offensive as Ukraine was taking too long with theirs...
1
UK is like the big kid egging the little kid on to fight the big kids rival. When the rival smashes the little kid, the instigator says "not my fault you got crushed".....uhhh yes it IS your fault a-hole! π
1
LOL. That Russian lady in the Duma is 100% correct. Right now there are almost 500 Western airliners stranded in Russia the day of the invasion (mostly EU carriers and Airbus models), worth something like 100 BILLION dollars. There are so many inside Russia that even with no Western spare parts, they could just cannibalize and hundreds of them could be in service for decades. Add this to whatever other legal things Russia could do and they could take 10 times from EU what EU takes from them.
1
He flew all the way here for nothing. Both US parties are playing political games; don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The Dems want to force Zelensky to negotiate by drying up his funding, but they don't want to be blamed for it. The GOP wants to stop all the illegal immigration on the border forcing the Dems to choose between blocking the asylum seekers which have been their policy to let in for years and getting money for Ukraine, or allowing the immigration which is their policy and letting Ukraine wither on the vine. Immigration or Ukraine; that is the US Democrat Party choice. Zelensky saw the writing on the wall when the Democrats did not even want to talk about blocking immigration; he saw they made their choice and it wasn't him.
1
Smart. Israel will not go up against Russia; if RU puts a no-fly zone up over Iran, Israel will not challenge it.
1
Iran isn't ready for America yet, they can't fight the US until their nukes are ready. They are 5 to 10 years away from being ready; which is why the US and Israel are hoping they respond
1
Belorussia will help, but only in the way Putin directs them to. I'm not certain they'll actually cross the border, as they've mined it heavily and they'd have to remove them to send a large force in. My guess is all this is a show to force AFU to keep significant forces in the north.....just in case. Napolensky cannot risk them running into Kyiv again; this time there won't be anything Boris Johnson could say to Putin to get him to back off....."
1
A terrible, totally unnecessary war. Enabled by Biden; without whom Zelensky could not have done anything. Biden didn't do it out of the goodness of his heart; he did it to score a political victory with his base back home by sticking it to Putin's eye. However it has now backfired in a terrible way---the cost has been Ukraine's future. The security plan Russia gave to NATO in September, 2021 would have resulted in Ukraine losing some territory, yes. However what remained would have been intact and 100,000 of her sons would still be alive. Was it worth it, Ukraine?
1
Kinzhal it as soon as it is completed.
1
This war needs to end...NOW. It should never have started and it wouldn't have but for Zelensky (and Biden who enabled him). Russia's security deal before the war (which Biden rejected), would have given Ukraine far more than it has now. Unfortunately Biden's re-election chances are now tied to the outcome so if there is a negotiated settlement where Russia keeps what it already has, it will be seen as a "loss" (and in reality it would be). Biden will lose re-election. This means Biden will keep fueling the war for the next 18 months.
1
Zelensky won't negotiate as long as Biden arms Ukraine enough for them to believe they have a chance to kick Russia out everywhere. In 2024 when Biden gives them 200 Abrams tanks, Zelensky may be right. Problem is they have to survive long enough for that to occur.
1
The US, graveyard to millions of African slaves for 300 years. France, sitting idly staring into space while Haiti, their Great Horror Show, descends into chaos. They say: "Don't talk to Putin, we will give you a little bit of money if you don't go." Those days are over forever. Africa Ascendant.
1
The reason NATO killed the deal is because it expressly kept the US and UK out of Ukraine's defense forever. France and China were allowed to assist Ukraine's defense needs, but not US or Britain. That's why they killed it....
1
Yes, because sending your units to attack the enemy while wearing the uniform of your enemy is technically a war crime under Geneva Convention. If Ukrainian Army attacks Russia fine; if they send these "rebels" in there in fake Russian police uniforms that is a war crime.
1
ATACMS are just rockets----they are not stealthy, they are not hypersonic (about Mach 3). Any modern AD system can shoot them down. Stupid NATO always hyping their new "wunderwaffe" that turns out to be not so wunder after all. ATACMS is a big missile (600mm) and AFU is firing them at a target where their enemy is fully expecting them to. A few get through, but the damage they do is meaningless. Just like everything else NATO tries.
1
The world needs to understand internal American politics to understand Biden's actions. Two main things: 1. Biden and Democrat party are still MAD AS HELL about how Putin helped Trump win in 2016. Never underestimate how much the Democrats want to punish Putin for that. 2. A new generation of American Left has grown up after the Cold War ended in 1989. Some of them are "hawks" and believe the US can use its military power to create "safe space" in the World for Left-leaning policy (like gay / lesbian freedom, etc.). They see Putin as a threat to that.
1
Big OpEd in the Daily Telegraph today arguing to attack Iran before "its too late". Xi already announced months ago China is preparing for war. Now, we are entering the "to hell with it" phase of this war where Ukraine no longer even bothers to hide the fact it is blowing up civilians on a "dual use" target (was there even a soldier or tank within a mile of the bridge when they bombed it?). There will be no peace in our time; the 21st Century is going to be bloodier than the 20th. Lavrov was right: the Anglo-Saxon nations are girding to put half the planet under the heel of their boots; starting (as always) with the Slavs.
1
Putin already has his response to the next NATO escalation ready (he always does). If Biden give the new long range missiles, RU will respond with their new long range missiles, and I am not talking about Iskander...."
1
What "long range weapon" does Finland have that it didn't get from US/UK/FR/Germany?? They can't give those if the country they got them from says "no" Zelensky going to beg Afghanistan for the American weapons Biden left behind....π"
1
Ten million US dollars up in some majestic-looking smoke; can even see the overpressure wave on the second detonation.
