And if you have paid in for a private pension all your life the you can kiss goodbye to ANY state pension. Only good value to those who have NEVER paid in but get the full pension.

  37. I used police the Carnival. The police and media sometimes reported that it was 'largely peaceful' when it hadn't been at all. One year there were 10 Stbngs but not a mention in the media. It became worse and worse as the years went on and that was a long time ago.

  38. WEe already pay tax for every mile we drive as you say but no cameras are required!! There's the rub. The RFL is not a flat fee it varies on the emmissions and mine is over £300 per annum.
