Elden Ring, a runically typed programming language used by foreign Gods in cloud-based computing. It gained popularity due to its ability to superset javascript from-above and reconfigure all your spaghetti code into a magical looking spaghetti drawing based on its rune syntax that no one understands but everyone would admire. In Fireship voice

Programming is a hobby for me, im graduating next year and hoping to make as much money as I can as fast I can. My ultimate goal, dream and ambition, in life is to get married, have a family and possibly help others if I get there economically.

The current AI buzz feel like someone made a new magic trick, performed to an audience and got awed alongside them.
31
Lmfao. Tom is such a genius that when he went over to fix a problem at Reddit's he left a few backdoord. They are undetectable too brcause they are in JDSL
27
"90% percent of my code is generated by LLM's" Compay: Hmm... so you are saying we only need to pay you 10% of your salary and GPT fees.

Same here, I'm cooking with Go. Wanted to say they should make JS into NULL languages instead of 2.
8
It's not a web if you don't get tangled and make a mess. I say that's by design.
8
An undergraduate here, can you explain why we should use a map for the fizzbuzz problem?
7
I didn't understand most things but I liked the jokes
7
Of course! How can we call ourselves an ocean if we don't have an ocean of languages
6
@erickmoya1401 best of luck I guess. Im also in a third rate country, though I hope to stay in it if I'm lucky enough to get hired be a company who have a branch here. Or to a country close by.
6
@zakhoskins6404 what's complicated? What are we talking about? (xd)
6
@isodoubIet Thank for this comment section. As an undergraduate I appreciated your argument because I felt its built on the logic of doing just what needs to be done. While the others was doing what needs to be donr and leaving wiggle room. I have no working experience to gauge which one is better in a work environment but I suppose in an interview I might explain the pros and cons of both methods and depending on the requirements pick one. As for in a real life situation, i guess Id pick based on what I need. Anyways, this is a great comment section

Secret to become senior dev revealed! Speak words in a different way and never bream character! Noice

Alpha programmers assert. Beta programmers try.

I mean Ed's life story is still more exciting than 99% of what asian authors write these days
5
should have talked to Tom. Big mistake. Tom is a genius.
5
I love how us programmers use the English vocab
5
Tom actually just finished integrating Twitter 4.0 directly as Augmented Reality into the brain. He didnt use a single peripheral because with JDSL he was able to write nerve code directly into the brain! Tom is a genius
5
@programaths indeed, in university ee get taught a 100, unrelated to the job, subjcts but are fundamental to know. Just the simplest thing like you mentioned, doing conversations on pen and paper for example. (But oh god do I not want to to redo writing assembly on pen and paper x.x)
5
Why is this so accurate? Especially with the terrible optimization lmao

I'm constantly wishing I was 42 now instead of 22 so I could have caught the simpler old days. Or the opposite, if only now did stuff start growing like this. Idk, graduating in half a year and idk where to start. Learned frontend, backend, android dev, java desktop dev, low level, high level, etc... and I just... so much stuff to learn to get going and I can't find a field of passion.. Sigh. Im taking 6mo after graduation to build a project in each field, hoping that might find me a passion in one of the fields
3
I want to make an "org" "wasm" joke but can't cook something up
