Let's be honest here. Elden Ring wouldn't be as rusty on performance if it was written in Rust.

I used to wish to go back to the Renaissance or some other medieval age. Now I wish to go back to the internet dark ages

I agree with Indian guy as a third world country person because I feel the tech industry is so much different (and sometimes slower) than the west, and the USA in particular

This is just a "problem" with everything in life really. As our civilization advances, whats required of its productive people keep getting higher and higher. A thousand years ago, my ancestor only needed to haul stone blocks from point A to donkey cargo wagon. A thousand before that, their ancestor only needed to stay alive themselves. Look at school standards too. At least in my country. 50 years ago we had 1 state exam during school years and only 9 grades. Now we have 2, at 9th and at 12th and last grade Etc.

No no no, that's just called "encryption". You are actually helping the company. ... decryption? That's not your jurisdiction, you cant go on doing others work too.

I approve-egean too. Articles like these rekindle my passion for coding. Wasn't expecting they'd fix it. And the bounty? Totally did not expect that from rockstar of all people. But then again, gta V online is their cash cow, so it makes sense

So they are telling Prime to praise it and advertize it if he wants a split version kekw

The government doesn't want the people to get too much power, so they made bending space and time less paid than centering divs. >.>

I realize, as my first year in my compiter science in university (3 years total) was entirely maths courses. I also realize that me procrastinating the entire year and cramming at the end to barely pass was pretty damaging yo me as I will be wasting time to learn that crap again
2
Im distressed now that im about to graduate. I have no experience but I realized I love learning for the sake of learning, as like its the destination and not just the journey
2
I learnt of OOD recently and that's its part of object oriented and that most of us were getting taught wrongly

What author failed to realize is we make mf dumb sites because people who read them dont want text communication and are dumb. It is practical sure, but how many gold fish, I mean humans would click and read... sigh,

I was just looking at Helix and this came out... (Because it was such a pain configuring nvim on my ubuntu laptop, but I mainly use a windows desktop and I know its gonna be config hell. then I remembered Helix. But haven't downloaded anything yet. Still using vs code but I wanted a low friction fast editor to just... go)

I did that same thing back in middle school more than a decade ago! We'd write plain html into notepad by memory or referencing the class book, save as mysite1.txt, mysite2.txt etc then rename it and change the extension to .html It was fascinating to me as a kid that I ended up doing the teacher's work of helping everyone else! It was just basic rectangles and boxes but it sure was magical! I miss those days and wish more than id like to admit if current tech was simple just like back then

He made Linux. He can slap me and I wouldn't be mad

Behold a programmer reaching the critical state of transcendence. They will either ascend and unlock a new way for everyone else, or they will fall. But even if they do fall. They would still land at a pretty good altitude kekw
2
And here I thought i would only be excited for Asmongold reacting to this
2
@ruukinen sounds reasonable. Im not well versed in this matter but your comment is very logical
2
@Volvith indeed. I uninstalled and cleaned house when Vanguard in league happened cuz it was a wake up call
2
Its not the developers fault though. A developer is a worker at a company. Workera will do what they are asked to do. Its the decision makers fault for not improving the UX over the years.

Putting vim motions as wallpaper then making nvim transparent.

We must survive for 10 years until companies blow themselves up with LLMs then realize they still need elites, which no longer exist but if you grinded for the past future 10 years you can swoop in

No one's here to listen to this naughty joke so I posted it on a random tech video. Good old Abe's father was walking down the street and saw a well-endowed beauty wearing a shirt that read "Handle with Care" and a light bulb flashed above his head. He grabbed pen and paper and stuck the latter on his pants, it read "Candle with Hare" Laugh track ensues at poorly translated joke

I wonder if they'll still post my time if I run it by hand kekw.

Im glad I learned Vim motions I use Helix, which is configured from the get go when I want to do fast and small scripts. Otherwisr I use Vs Code because im used to it. I write a lot in Obsidian too and use Vim keybinds there, navigating and editing text eith ease.
