@Gratefulman1965 it was all for nought. Sadly. Please don't ever trust the people at the top of the MIC in this country again. Their goals are only corrupt and self-serving. They would sell ANY of us down the river in a New York minute. They could care less about our lives, our losses and our pain; so long as they're getting their billions for their war profiteer buddies and other perceived advantages.

Just like the Paradise fire all over again. So sad to lose another unique town. This is our new normal, sadly. Did should-be-bankrupt-and-in-prison-PG&E cause this one too??? Well, the age of severe climate change is upon us; I sure hope we find a way to stave off the worst effects that are still yet coming. If we don't, this will only get worse. As things stand, this will be every summer now for the foreseeable future, as it has been for the last five. I'll be praying this is brought under control soon. Thoughts and prayers from San Diego, friends.

@jj.harvey4067 yes at that point Obama should not have pulled troops out at that time. The moment that happened ISIS moved in. It took Obama 2 or 3 years to send troops back into the 3 cities ISIS took over but once he did, we liberated them immediately. I doubt most Afghanis want to live under the Taliban. With all our manpower and arms we can't eliminate these primitives if we made an organized plan to do so??? I find that very hard to believe.
