  9. I used to love to host the downstairs neighbor's kitten in my place. She was so curious and super smart. I would always offer her food and play with her while she explored my apt. One day she got pregnant while still young and I didn't see her much after she had her kittens. Guess she was a teen mom. 😄 She's full grown now and really pretty. They keep her inside more frequently these days but I still see her outside from time to time. She doesn't seem to remember me tho, but it's ok. I'm just glad they're still letting her get some outside time. The complex I live in is a perfect area for cats to explore. Not off a busy street, some nature access and grass and plants on the premises. I do miss when she was a playful kitten sometimes. I used to pspspsps at her and she'd come running from all the way around the corner would run up our steps, lol.

  12. God bless this woman. Why move straight to euthanizing a healthy animal? Were they even going to try to rehome it or just put it down because that's easiest? at least give it a few weeks to get adopted. couldn't they just take it to a shelter and post it up on Facebook and see if anyone comes forward? at least give the poor thing a chance. It's not it's fault what happened to it geez.

  20. This is quite possibly the most delightful thing I've ever seen. I've never know the dog and a horse to have a special relationship like this! Your dog is absolutely the most precious thing in the universe haha. Also I'm also very jealous lol you live in such an amazing place! I think I am going to have to follow you guys on Instagram the story is just too unique!

  21.  @Mario87456  you don't like horses?? Well I don't know where you live but here in the US many people love horses as companions and they are not raised for meat that I'm aware of. Although if one is put down for health reasons I would hope that they would harvest the meat because otherwise that would be a big waste.

  22.  @Mario87456  yeah I didn't say it would be a waste- if the horse has to be euthanized then the meat should be saved. I don't know if they do that as common practice but I hope so. Well look I think the horse is a graceful majestic beautiful creature. I don't know about being smelly, lol. All animals poop, so... Not much can be done about that. You don't have to like them but but I think it should be clear why others do. I mean horses have fans of all ages and genders. There are plenty of guys who enjoy riding or use horses for work on their property.

  26. There's no excuse for starving an animal. Sadly some people don't deserve to live and I wish we could retire them- permanently. They are either evil, or so deeply disturbed they are a danger to themselves or others. These are people who are basically untreatable. If they were curable or treatable they wouldn't have gotten to this point. It would be 1000 times better for society if they were removed from the gene pool. This is just a fact. The law wont do it but there are some cases that truly deserve mercy-killing. It's a mercy for them, in some cases a bigger one than they deserve, and it's certainly a mercy for us, and any animals or people they may have harmed along the way. Tldr: there are TOO damn many people running around that DO NOT deserve breath!!!!

  28. Just because someone is locked up doesn't mean they stop being human. Most people are in prison for drugs not a heinous violent act. like 90% seriously. So really we need to just stop locking those people up period. But until then- MORE PROGRAMS LIKE THESE NOW PLEASE!!!!!!!

A cat might be fine as long as it has its claws but like the other person said, if they never learned how to hunt of use their natural instincts they could well be in trouble.

  47. Wow good bless this animal angel for neber giving up, and the wonderful woman who kept him and nurtured him back to health in the country. I hope this man and this beautiful pup are going strong together today! Also- shame on those evil people who tried to abandon him again. What is wrong with people???? Did they not know he had an owner by that point??? Jesus do people just hate animals in Brazil?? Some people are insanely soulless. It's quite amazing.

  50. One of the most beautiful and heartwarming stories I've seen recently. Thank you for sharing your story with the world. Your animals' relationship is truly beautiful. Anytime I see another animal relationship my heart just expands. It's wonderful to know these kind of relationships can exist in the animal world and not just the human one. I think people underestimate animals by a whole lot. Every animal may not feel exactly as we do but clearly, many animals are indeed capable of clear feelings and loyalty. We should keep this in mind when guiding our public policy decisions towards animals. Personally I want to see the immediate end of ALL factory farming as we currently know it, and strict regulations set up going forward in high volume animal operations. We should have already banned all animal testing on animals other than rodents. We need to do that now. And finally I believe animal cruelty penalties need to be stiffer. A lot of messed up people are out here getting away with animal neglect and abuse and never having to face any consequences for it. That's not right. There are some people who just shouldn't be allowed to own animals, they can't be trusted with them. So I certainly think in most cases animal abuse penalties need to be increased.
