  3.  @Sofia-kr9fb  Sorry but your theory would have to face up to the fact that a large amount of fuel would have been required to burn the body and getting that up the side of a mountain would be difficult. Also the pharmaceutical that was taken would have impaired physical and mental performance. This event was planned and not the actions of somebody who was irrational. So taking the substances to commit suicide and then changing that to Self-immolation on a whim is highly unlikely and very difficult to achieve in a short period of time.

  7. Unless she was from a very dysfunctional family at some point they would have followed it up. Even in dysfunctional families still follow up on missing family members. We do not know if she was eccentric or not as that is mostly post mortem evidence which makes it difficult to verify and also prone to peoples opinions and also sometimes pure fabrications.

  17. Your aunt may have had a mental illness but her fear of the mob could still have been real. She may have upset somebody and her breakup could have had information in it that you may not be aware of. This case is probably not a mental health breakdown.

  18. There are other issues as well such as how was she burned to such an extent with no evidence of the event other than the charred remains. How was such a fuel source carried to that remote location. She was a small women and would have struggled to perform that. Even a able bodied young man with experience would struggle to carry 15 to 30 kilograms of fuel.

  19. @Taylor Smith The case has all the hallmarks of careful planning and misdirection. Most of the evidence of this case has to be taken with caution. Even the evidence that was in the station such as the suitcases have to treated carefully. One of the first questions that people need to take into account is the amount of fuel it would require for a body to be burned to that degree especially up the side of a mountain.

  26.  @mnxs  I would have to disagree with that. 10 litres of gasoline/petrol would not be enough to burn a body to that degree. What would happen if 10 litres was used in a continuous amount is that most of it would spread and burned off too quickly to produce that level of state. Then there would be a runoff in the uneven ground as well. One of the ways it could be achieved with 10 litres is for it to be applied over a period of time rather than one application but even then I am doubtful of that level of damage to the the remains. More than likely a large volume of fuel was used and that she was sedated as well because she would have started to move around when being burned. I would want to know if there was equal thermal signs on the remains which can be identified through the colorations such as darker or lighter colors. Different colors could imply that rope was used on the arms or legs and samples from that era could establish if there is any sorts of residue present. Was there different levels of burning between the exposed upper facing part of the body and the part of the body resting on the ground. After all these yes we will not know any of this.

Why mentally ill do you have her medical record or have you carried out an examination? Why serial killer do you know of her interacting with such a person? Why do you think she was sleeping with men for money? One bottle of hair spray would never be able to turn a human body like that. It simply would not have the thermal properties or energy density to achieve that level of charring of the remains. There is either one large bit of evidence that is not present that would explain natural causes or there was other people involved. It is either accidental death or it is intentional.

It must have been one hell of a can of hairspray that was about the size of 10 liters and with some sort of external chemical present as well to keep the body burning so that it was in its very damaged state. If the person was up right and poured the substances over the body it would have ran down the legs igniting the leggins as well. I would speculate that the body was laying out flat on the ground and that it was applied from an elevated position with focus on the head and upper torso area.

I would take the assessment of the intelligence community on this one with a pinch of salt such as the explanation with the spray can having enough energy present to burn the body to that degree.

  40. The problem with this is we do not know if those are items that she herself actually carried or where they planted. Mental illness is not an easy thing to establish in this and is just guesswork and the gruesome strange nature of this would make it very easy for us to assume mental illness.

  43. It is an old case that really requires detailed and extensive resources with use of the best forensic analysis. Are there any detailed government files on the case in Norway or outside of Norway?

In your own words "It freaked the hell out of me" and that is your own instincts telling you of your situation. There are many things that people should not do such as swimming on their own, hunting in the wilderness on their own and several other things as well. If you are in a very remote place meaning nobody is within your vicinity for many miles then you need to really know what you are doing. If you are in a place that is popular with people then you need to understand how vulnerable you can be on your own. A woman is perfectly free to walk at night on her own through any part of town but has to be realistic that she is vulnerable. There is no point a person being in the right legally and morally when they are dead or badly injured. There are things I could inform you of that may genuinely freak you out and put far more context on things. It does not matter by the way if you are in Europe, north America, africa or Asia.

  49.  @frndusbambulius1709  I am originally from the UK that lives in the US. I have also lived in Europe and travelled in Europe. So while both the US and Europe are relatively safe places they still require caution at certain times. That does not mean a person should be walking around freaked out the whole time. Going out to sea on your own in a boat requires knowledge as well.
