  1. Believe it or not the government has no real control over this. I know scientist that have raised their own capital because government would not provide research grants on a particular cancer research yet they fund government research to study peoples attitude towards politician that is totally crazy. Citizen scientist (research this term) are doing genetic research today that took government funds 10 years ago. in 10 years most cancer research will be done by citizens and not governments.

  2. Get your head around this one people. The Obama administration destroyed the US coal industry and claimed they were doing this for the environment. The claim by supporters was that renewables would replace coal. Well guess what happened coal power plants stay in place and America then had to import its coal from south America.

  6. As I have stated it is not the inefficiency its self that is the issue. It is the building of the panels. There have been no panels that can be easier to build than today's panels. Remember they have to be mass produced and one substance that they require is copper. There is no panels that can do the job of 30 panels. The 3 trillion oil profits would be small change compared to the money that could be made from solar technology.

  7. I do not even think it is necessarily the rich who start off with it. It is usually the pioneers who first operate it. Some times it is the rich. With acceleration of the growth of technology it now starting too look like the products are getting to the poor first as they are need to be produced in mass scale for profits so companies are starting to develop their strategy around mass production. I would say the rich getting the tech first is a thing of the past. Genome seq is an exception.

  8. 1/1 Clueless? I have a degree in medicine and post graduates in statistics and mathematics and have phd in mathematics I would not say that I am clueless or misinformed. I have also served in the UK defense forces. I will present you with a very simple fact and you can ignore it or engage with it. Solar panels require copper at present to operate no special patents can get around this very simple factor and there is other materials that are required.

  11. The technology that is being used for organ replacements will also be used to create health supplements that will keep the body healthy. There is drugs being developed that will give people the benefits of exercise with any exercise. There will also be supplements that are used to protect the organs and metabolic processes. Not everybody will need these people who exercise and eat good like myself and you will need minimal help.

  13. They are marxist activists. That means they are campaigning for the economic collapse of America. They will use every excuse available to them to try and disrupt communities. The purpose of their activism is not to actually stop the arcade but it is scare other wouldbe businesses from setting up.
