  2. Most people can eat five meals a day and be perfectly ok. It really depends on what they are eating and their physical activity levels. Sitting around all day on a computer and eating heavy starchy meals 5 times a day is a recipe for disaster.

How would you feel if people started to debunk professional football but never played it before or do not know the rules of the game. Most fans would say that is preposterous.

Now I do not agree with this world view of Gates and I think he is doing a good job. I do not agree with everything he is doing but its his big programs of vaccination that is helping the world especially africa.

  12.  @martinw245  He is an engineering graduate from Naval academy. And is top gun and works on the calibration of flight systems. And you think he is not an expert on the system? There are no engineer that knows every aspect of a system. Those flight systems require multi disciplinary teams. The develop of such systems involves whole divisions of research and can cost hundreds of millions and even billions in development. So are you talking about a design engineer or maintenance.

Conservativism while being focused on tradition is not a slave to tradition but it does recognise the universal truths of free speech, the right to life and the ability to have private possessions. These ideas are as old as the hills. Conservatism does no say you cannot have a TV or the ability to use the internet. Nor does it say that two men cannot have a relationship but it warns that if a society is based on men having romantic relationships that society will collapse.

  23. @Potato Face I would suggest going to see a doctor that specializes in functional or Integrative medicine. You may be vegan and feel healthy but you may also be eating a high carbohydrate diet that will create problems down the line. Meat is probably not the source of your digestive problems.

So has he carried out extensive analysis of energy emission from the observed object to correlate its relationship in terms of temperature and radiation wavelength. I am doubtful that any any waveform analysis of Stefan-Boltzmann Law and its impact on systems observation of the black body was carried. Most of these skeptics are way outside their comfort zone.

  44. Conservatism addresses universal concepts such as ownership, family and other traditions. As a codified philosophy conservatism has been around since the 1700s but the ideas that it are based on are much older. Liberty and conservatism are not opposing philosophies. They have lots of overlap and a person can be both a liberal and a conservative.

A republic creates representation and legislation with the main reason to stop the 51% in a moment of craziness introducing something that could hurt the 49% that may also in the long run hurt the 51%. An example of this could be prohibition of something such as what the US attempted but got overturned. With democracy the 51% could introduce such enormous levels of legislation that could destroy the society. What if the US at the exact same times prohibition of alcohol had of introduced prohibition of medication (there was a movement for that as well).

  47. A clip on tie could still be used to strangle a person just become it unclipps does not mean it cannot be wrapped around the neck area. A neck tie is a massive risk in a fight and has been know for a long time.
