  2. Thomas Tuchel before he joined PSG had did about similar things to Rangnick at management level in that he just won cup competitions. Ralf Rangnick has never really been interested in long term football management and prefers technical football management such as coaching and methodology. If Rangnick can get Utd to play the same type of football as the other clubs with players that Utd produce and buy then he may produce a very dominant team. No utd fan really believes that Utd will win the EPL or champions league this season but they want the club to move in the right direction.

  8. EPL is a different set up with no time constraints on charges. All activities are included as evidence and cannot be excluded. All clubs that are members of the EPL obey this rule and will through the process seek out that city are held to those rules as well. The UK government is also looking over the should of the FA and EPL on this one. HMRC will also be looking at this as well.

  13. Not this time. The list of charges is so serious and the the desire nows seems to be there to clean house. Teams Like Utd have been complying with FFP for the last 15 years to the point that their squad is nowhere near the level of City. I do no think people fully understand the implications of this as of yet. HMRC may also get involved because I suspect they will have issues as well with what has happened. No Corporation in the UK would get away with doing that.

Utd for years have put a lot of emphasis on technical academy players hence why the likes of McTominay, Greenwood and Rashford came through the club and more will continue. What has happened to utd happens to every top team at some point. There is always a downward spiral in the club at first team level. Real Madrid and Barcelona are in that right now but the difference with them is they have enormous debt levels and cannot sign players. Man Utd have a revenue of about $600 to $700 million per year with debts about £350 million.

Many City became a force because they spent over a billion and brought in the best coaches and built a squad from the get go. Utd on the other hand have been using a dribs and drabs approach to bring in players. After Ferguson left Utd had to replace several top quality players and that never happened.

As long as he can get the team playing football he will have plenty of time.   37. Bayern are top of their league and have that many options in players that they are overload. Which is a good problem for them. They have Ryan Gravenberch sitting on the bench for games as well. That is how deep their options are. I would say Ten Hag probably was looking from Gravenberch but Bayern would not part with him due to his potential talent.

  42. Everyone of them needs to have a 20 point deduction. And 15 points next season and each get a fine of £50 million and a transfer ban for the next two seasons. That should be suffice anything more than that and they may feel that they are being forced to join the super league. Now what should happen with the FA cup final, champions league semis and Europa league is more complex and not easy to answer.

  44. That is absolutely not the case. EPL case is not based on UEFA. It is based on activities within the EPL and is not subjected to European sports rules. The UK government will step in and conducted an audit if the EPL does not at this point.
