  1. The concept of the bot is real. I suspect they have realized that their ai research has reached a milestone that will allow them to apply it to certain types of robots. Their first phase will only to build a robot that can navigate a human environment and look humanoid it will not be a robot that can do everything a human can.

  3. Tesla are already an ai company and it is just another extension of what they are doing. One of the difference with this and other Musk ideas is that it is already part of their commercial sphere. The 500,000 cars they sell every year is part of that overall network approach of ai.

  4. It is not skepticism it is something else and they can sense that the person is not being genuine. So what if Musk gets something wrong. As he has said many times he is not correct about everything.

It is one thing to claim that Tesla ai approach is flawed and another entirely different thing to say that Musk is lying and that tesla are not involved in ai. Clearly they are involved in ai and you are just not aware.

I am sorry but you are talking crap when saying there is no creativity in ai research what in the hell is that suppose to mean?

  9. So you are telling us that those students built a research platform that is on par with what Tesla did. SO then you are saying that the built the various components of the platform like Tesla.

  11. Tesla are already an ai company that have millions of ai based products out there. Tesla has a factory full of robotics and ai systems as does SpaceX. Not every aspect of Tesla manufacturing is robotics but they do have a large section that is.

  16. He never said they were going to originally sell the bot. It is part of their existing ai research that is in Tesla cars and SpaceX.

People that sound all science and technology and present their own cleverness as a means for you to outsource your own intellect is not necessarily a good thing. Let us look at he facts with Musk he has his primary focus on Tesla which now produces and sells about 1 million cars per year and his Spacex company has contracts with billions. What exactly could you tell yourself that ThunderF00t has achieved. Be honest with yourself what has he done that you could with certainty that you could say that allows you to put such faith in him.

  25. They are extraordinarily expensive and generally require governments to pump in billions of taxpayers money. There are very few countries in the world that have truly private train networks.

  26. The hyperloop is not finished and was disrupted by 2020 pandemic and a few teething problems. He has already done the tunnel part and now the easy part is the actual mechanical system. You would swear they failed to actually do anything at this point.
