It was a joke but clearly people who are easily offended do not get it.
1
Nonsense.
1
@manners7483 You mean US companies make them in China?
1
Yes there is a way. China would need to over the next 60 years build their integrated circuit manufacturing industry and then maybe they would be where the US is now.

US money printing has not caused inflation. The current inflation cycle is due to the economic shutdowns in the US and external to the US. In other words inventory is down which is the supply but the demand is high. Baby formula is the most obvious one right now that everybody can see. There is a demand to feed babies and not enough food. The main reason the US prints money is because too much of the US dollar gets used internationally in an attempt to stabilize the world and then not enough is available to the US economy. When people as well use the term growth in the US what they are really talking about is US government economic growth not real economic growth. GDP does not capture all of the economic activity in the US.

@roboatnick6178 In the developed world the US, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and a few other countries do not have anywhere near the demographics that Canada is experiencing. I am not suggesting refugees because they sit in a form of immigration limbo for decades. I am suggesting Canada sets a number that they need and then open up the system with a focus on 18 to 24 year olds that can work. Some will be semi skilled with a few years of experience others will be completely skilled. Take a European that has left school at 16 has worked in a factory for a few years and has college certs from that work experience. I do not feel that this is something that can be achieved politically as nobody is willing to talk the truth in Canada.
1
What crap are you talking about?
1
There is not going to be a new wave of Apprenticeships to try and deal with the shortages out there. It may not start tomorrow but it will come.
1
The way things are shaping it looks like the Russians simply may not understand the current situation. Now to counter this it could be assumed that the Russians have a lot more supplies than people realize.

The EU as a a trade zone as it was originally planned was more effective. Within that their could have been a Nordic, Germanic and Latin alliances. Those regions could work on their strengths and weaknesses. Even movement of people which was more streamlined throughout Euro zone could have been achieved. There does not tend to be large numbers of Germans, Brits, Italians, French or Spanish moving around in the EU anyway.
1
@Fsegment1Test The EU has been a disaster of epic proportions. A Common Market with a permit based immigration system would have been a success. With that there would not have been vast numbers of people moving around so it would have worked. Even with the free movement of people today large numbers of Germans, Italians and French to not move around Europe.
1
Sort of but it really is just the US backing another country with equipment.
1
It would be better for the Union to actually morph into something else such as a trade zone with light levels of regulations among the member states. Collapse is never good.
1
@julianb1550 You are living in a fantasy world. Millennials is one of the most obedient generations to have ever existed. Saying crazy things on line does not translate to a whole generation getting out there and getting politically active. I would say millennials have one of the weakest political cultures to have been seen in 80 years. They care more about being offended than the actual state of the world. Tell us what sort of activism has millennials done?
1
@tommyt1785 Your assertion that there would be enough to go a round would be true in a genuine market economy. That is not the case though for most of the world that is not a true market economy. Most of the world is a top down authoritarian economic model. There is no innovation or development of market practice. What most of the world does is to use western technology and tools for their own ends. Countries that are genuine market economies like Canada, Western Europe, Japan, Austria, New Zealand and USA it will not be so much of a problem. Most starvation in the world today is due to war not food crop failures.
1
What are you talking about?
1
Why?
1
@flipper2gv It means the prices being paid by the consumer are not the real market prices. Sort of like when germany lectures the US about military matters but cannot defend it self. Germany boasted about its renewable energy and how it was producing this and that but the reality is not that of the market reality.
1
If there is lots of shut downs people in the west will know about it.
1
Nope cannot.
1
Russia has not been dominating Rocket launches.
1
@_s.4785 Now is the time to be investing all that money you are earning especially over the long term. The Market is perfect if you know how to identify quality companies to invest in.
1
The US built their system and then loaned it out to the world who could not be bothered to build their own. If they want a competing system with America that means dirty things such as liberty and free market that they get repelled by. Cannot use the US system and then cry when it is taken away from them.
1
@normieloser6969 There is no short of water resources just inadequate supply system. California has not increased its infrastructure but its population has increased. California needs to build several large scale reservoirs, localized daily storage increases and several other large pipeline systems. Building anything in California is hard as ice but very brittle due to all the lefty activism. There are areas of the UK and Ireland that have the exact same problems even though they are awash with water as it falls from the skies in very large volumes.
1
@Ashadow700 The US is not facing inflation because of the extra money being cycled.
1
@jamesw1659 Medium sized businesses do not even need to set up brand new colleges they just need to partner with existing colleges. Large corporations can easily build a whole institute for them self that could house tens of thousands of students.
1
@karlcx Everything.
1
@karlcx Not hubris. It is fact.
1
@PaulVerhoeven2 You are talking crap. US natural citizen birth rate has remained stable over the decades. The US has about 45 million under the age of 20 and as about 25 million from 60 to 80. That is a natural demographic as seen throughout the ages.
1
Nope. Blackwater is a genuine security company. Wagner are a mercenary group that act for political reasons.
1
Yes it is fantastic that US cotton will flourish as part of a value added production output. I know you probably dislike America and would prefer to see that overseas.
1
@joebonsaipoland They also allowed Jews to hid their money from the Nazis.
1
@FreedomIsNotGoingToBeFree The vast majority of people in China have no idea what communism is.
1
No. Boom in tech is caused by companies that produce products that people use in their lives. That market is probably now saturated because there are not as many new customers. It already happened to the cellular phone market in the early 2000s until smart phones came to market. Ai will probably be the next new market place but the tools are not ready as of yet. So recognising the next company to be an apple of google is going to be the gold that may prospect for.
1
They were still manipulating currency when on the gold standard.
1
Because it is on complete US terms.
1
Russia does not control the air space and they do not have precision missiles so what could they counter them with?
1
Low end chips that sell for pennies are absolutely horrible quality and consistency. Their architecture is hideous from a manufacturing point of view. The platforms they are embedded within are not much better hence why there is such high product failure rates.
1
Once US pressure comes to bear that viewpoint will change. All the European neighbors as will be putting on pressure. I suspect Germany is playing this game.
1
Religion can shape a country but it will never allow that country to completely define the world or the conditions that the world are in. Religion can allow an individual country to form a morality or set of cultural values.
1
I do not think most Americans even including those hardcore Trump supporters have an issue with immigrants that are keen to work. What many have an issue with is criminals coming into America that have not been background checked. I am sure Mexicans would not want hardcore American gangsters landing in their towns. The movies make it look so easy but I doubt they would welcome them.
1
No that is a myth. The forces that the US backed in Afghanistan were a mixture of different tribal groups. The Taliban are actually a group that are backed from within Pakistan and are not the same as the Mujahideen. No doubt there would have been some members from that earlier US back efforts that worked their way in but that is not the same thing.
1
Because of the distances involved, bridging generation to substations and the key is to have the most efficient system possible. If there is to be a small number of plants that would be the required approach if it is large number of plants expect it to take several more decades.
1
The US could not afford at that point to have a series of terrorist attacks post 911. It would have sent a signal worldwide that America was weak.
1
Nonsense. The US government is made up of three branches. Even within an administration there are branches. It really depends on the backing the president gets and how good they are at the job.
1
That is pure commie fantasy economics. Not saying she is a commie though just that it appears similar.
1
Not importing is a good thing because otherwise the US could end up like Germany.
1
They are not doing this to create a good economy as that is not their job. They are increasing interest rates to try and bring inflation under control. Interest rates and tax cuts are the only thing that are know to counter inflation over the long term.
1
He is talking on a base level what the bank does in the market to charge the customer is a different matter and could be much higher unless there are measures in place to stop the bank from doing it.
1
Volvo manufactures its cars in Europe and North America but are owned by a Chinese holding company. Not sure how that is going to play out though.
