Nonsense. Capitalism is the very thing that allowed Americans to have families and a startd of living in the 1950s and 1960s that even European countries do not have today. Every country that has gone down what you call a hybrid route of socialism and capitalism is really a welfare state economy. To fund that economy it means young workers have to work longer weeks to pay for that system. Those younger workers cannot get married when they are trying to support older population through a welfare system. Germany and UK lead the way on this model and both of them are the first to really fall of a cliff economically.

@Lucas-hb1uq Capitalism has produced a booming population in places like the US, Australia and New Zealand. US had a baby boom in 1950s that is why numbers were high in that period. It was four children per women in the 1950s and in the period of the 1940s it was less than two children, In the 1930s it was 2.1 children per women. Social programs cost money and that means taxes have to be taken from people to fund those programs. DO not take my meaning to imply that no national government programs should exist but they do have a cost to them.

It depends on how crazy the Chinese become as their culture starts to collapse.
1
What they flare off is not even close to what they need to sell off just to keep the system flowing. Flaring will not offset that amount of gas. It is really a desperate move.
1
And how is the hydrogen produced?
1
Not going to work. Not having children is a deep rooted cultural issue that cannot be that easily changed.
1
It is very resource intensive to build geothermal stations.
1
There needs to be a fine balance. Pissing off every day working Russians is not good either as it may move the mood of their country towards a greater war.
1
The reason is that Denmark is not interested in attracting value added immigrants. Most of the immigration is centered around ethics and social values and not economics. Denmark needs to focus on young workers with families and moderate skill levels to arrive and to hit the ground running with work. If Denmark wants its birth rate to correct it will need to change its economic policy away from a welfare state model and towards a worker reward economy that focuses on young people.

@dixonhill1108 England will not thrive if it does not do the right thing. The UK needs to get its head from out underneath it self.
1
It is not happening any time soon.
1
What makes you think China is going to pay less?
1
Why would their be no incursions? It is simple Russia has not moved to a complete war economy culture and attacks inside Russia would speed that process up. It is better to keep that off for as longs possible.
1
I am afraid it is not over for America and they know that as well. America does not have an empire it has used its wealthy, trade and markets to try and buy stability that is not an actual empire.
1
Ukraine did not use Russian weapons to stall the tank offensive. They used British and American equipment.
1
It depends on how badly damaged the bridge is.
1
They just throw numbers at it. In WW2 they had tens of millions of very low quality men who were malnourished and not in a good state of health.
1
@rodtukker1904 I do not think India supports Russia they are really trying to keep out of it. They do not want to offend Russia nor they do not want to offend the US. If push comes to shove India will probably choose the US and at the same time try not to offend Russia too much.
1
Numbers have a force and property of their own. While Ukraine is a large country and would be difficult to occupy that does not mean 1.5 million Russians cannot destroy the place completely.
1
@DoNotFitInACivic 1.5 million troops storming Ukraine would be chaos and we have no idea what that looks like.
1
Only a small amount of Americans are obese. The vast majority are not obese and do not fall into that category. Just because people see some obese people out and about and see it on tv does not mean the whole population is like that. There has always been obese people but their numbers have dramatically increased but relative to the greater population they are insignificant. Certain cities hospitals are over run with obese people but it only takes a few hundred obese in a city to do that.
1
I am afraid to tell you that is nonsense. Ford do not sell that many cars in China. Ford and other Western brands license their products to Chinese manufacturers that do not make them to the same standard. On the exterior they may look like a Ford or Buick but they are not. The numbers that come out of China are also nonsense and nobody can verify them. The American brands are getting money out of China but it simply is nowhere near the levels being claimed. GM vehicles in China are manufactured by SAIC. Ford are made by Changan.
1
@jimcarlson2252 Ford and GM get very little money from China. Ford total revenue from China is 2% of their total revenue. That means hard cash not claimed vehicle figures. South America is a bigger market for Ford than China by revenue. The numbers coming out of China are nonsense. What probably is happening in China is that the manufacturers there are living on a credit funding mean they are getting money directly from the government to pretend it is revenue. SAIC alone probably is sitting in excess of $300 billions of debt.
1
Stocks and bonds are not risky and those that have the capital will be looking for low risk sectors. Not hard to understand.
1
Ukrainian drone systems are precision systems that can accurately target military assets. What Russia is using is a system of blind fire into map coordinate systems that are not precision and not accurate.
1
Shilling? He has a plant there and simply stay out of any sort of actions there that are political. Very few CEO's have actually done anything in public to annoy China because it simply is not their job. It is up to the US presidential administration and Congress to do something not Elon Musk or Tim Cook.
1
Argentina is not a good example because Argentina has plenty of energy in reserve but a very poor market economy.
1
Some states are going to get crushed while others will prosper. It has always been that way and will continue. US debt tends to be internal and is stable and long term. Most of the government debt is nothing more than an accounting exercise and most of it is not hard cashed based. There is still going to be challenges in the US economically but that will appear small and insignificant to the issues faced in Europe and Asia. Everybody in the US thinks the great depression was bad but forget in Europe they had wars that killed tens of millions of people and the same is true of Asia during that period. With a European economic crisis on top of that.
1
Most are not full US manufacturing but they do have models that are based on US manufactured components.
1
Yes Iran is extremely desperate.
1
That is not going to help Putin so stop with the nonsense. Trump is not going to get elected even Republicans realize that now. Trump is no more of a friend to Russia than Hillary or Biden would be.
1
Wind and solar works in parts of the US were it is natural viable. Nuclear is not the answer to everything because most of the raw uranium is from the soviet space.
1
The problem with using nuclear weapons is that they could then be used on Russia in return.
1
You would be surprised if the right opportunities were to arise who would join up for military service.
1
All the American brands are competitive with one other. DO not confuse foreign brands undercutting US brands because they do not need to meet US standards to the same degree as being competition. How is it possible for a US made vehicle to compete with cars that have components that are made by slave labour.
1
Tesla is completely EV where as the other manufacturers are not and it may be designed to bring them further on board. The truth is that government cannot pick winners and looser in the marketplace because it never works.
1
@CMVBrielman Winter is a terrible time for warfare.
1
He paid 44 billion to get access to the business so that he can turn it into something else. He is probably going to layer a crypto payment system (not currency), video streaming, sale servicing and so on. The money subscription charge will be to cover business services access not for general usage. The activists inside the business have tried to cause the collapse of Twitter and that was one of the reasons he tried to back out of the deal.
1
VW, Mercedes, Audi, BMW and Porsche sell a lot of cars in the US. Certain US states and cities will buy more of a certain brand than others. Toyota probably has a better manufacturing set up in the US.
1
Nope China will not be able to do that. The industries of both Korea and Taiwan are underwritten by the US. No doubt black market chips will make their way to China that will not help their industrial outputs.
1
@LordRykard9376 The odds of winning the lotto are very low but people still win it.
1
US is abundant in Energy and will have some form of crisis down the line but that is always the case. The US will look strong compared to Europe.
1
The point is that the enclaves on top of an existing fractured culture of Canada is not going to help.
1
@DrSQUIRRELBOY12 The outcome of all of this will be dictated by the depth of Russian military forces.
1
It is only a statistical significance and not actually meaningful on a population level.
1
The living standards in America are far higher than anywhere else. When Americans think they have it tough they are still living the high life compared to everywhere else. The great depression in America was still a far better economic condition than many European countries had at their economic peak.
1
@vagabondcaleb8915 If everything I said was false name another country with higher living standards. It should be easy for you.
1
Britain as in the UK post WW2 decided to focus all of it resources becoming a welfare state and decided that it would value things like the NHS over its naval forces. From that point onwards Britain was never going to be able to field a naval power that would allow it to rule the world's oceans. The decline was so bad in military force that the UK was getting the point that it may not be able to form a naval expeditionary force. Britain has now realigned its military to be capable of forming an expeditionary force meaning it could wage target naval warfare anywhere on earth but it has limitations and is nothing like the past.

Excellent video and the length is perfect considering the topic.
1
That is just politics and media and in a few short years their attention could be on something else such as the famines that are around the corner and their occasion with global warming may just get forgotten. Remember when the ozone was about to fall and everybody was going to be completely sunburned, remember acid rain or the destruction of mining on the environment. Those were all crazes of the left that are not long gone.
