  1.  @freyalove3831  Most of my family members are blue eyed, over half are blonde and many are red headed. That doesn't mean this is the norm for basques. Same for you and your family. It's not rare nor outstanding for northern Iberians to have fair or even very fair features but they're most definitely not the norm. Dark hair and eyes are dominant. My best friend is English, he's dark eyed and has dark hair. This is the norm in his family. This doesn't mean that's the norm in England. The "Not according to my "enter family member" " argument isn't, never was and won't be evidence for anything.

  26.  @danythrinbell1596  not true, tests separate all those groups. All Europeans are closely related but can be separated. And north Africans most definitely don't appear as Iberians. If you have mixed ancestry (Iberian and north African for instance) the test says so.

  29. The average Spaniard has dark to light brown hair, brown to hazel eyes and fair skin but not pale. I myself don't look this way (I'm on the fair side) but I think this is a fair description of most Spaniards. So most Spaniards do not look like Antonio Banderas or Penelope Cruz, but not like the stereotypical Scottish person either. Also, fair eyes and darker hair seems to be a lot more common than one might think, at least here in the Basque region (small town within Gipuzkoa) brown to dark hair combined with fair skin and eyes is not rare at all.

  31.  @freyalove3831  I can't even remember how many times I've been to Galicia and I know plenty of Galicians who live here in the Basque region... 70% plus brown eyed easy. Simply not happening no matter what you claim. Fair features aren't rare and even among the dark eyed ones skin tends to be fair, not tanned. But most being fair eyed is simply not true. Similar to many basques, white skin, brown hair and light brown eyes even tho fair looking people don't stand out at all either. Something like 1 in 6 is blue eyed in the Basque region and Galicians are about the same.

Saying that someone who was born in the Iberian peninsula isn't Iberian makes no sense, it's a geographic fact. Are there differences between different Iberian populations? Sure. Are people around the Pyrenees closer to the southern French? Yep, identical in many areas. What I'm telling you is that Spaniards in general aren't too different from other Europeans genetically. All of Europe is relatively similar. In fact, it changes slowly in a northwest-southeast direction. Southern Italians are way more divergent than any Spaniard for instance.
