  14. When I was in school in the early 1950's the schools sold us saving stamps for 10 cents to be glued in a leaflet. When filled you could turn it in for a Savings Bond to be redeemed years later. I still have an unfilled leaflet somewhere. No telling how many were left unfilled?? So the government kept this extra money.

  15. Money overprinting is the devaluation of the dollar which makes the dollar cheaper which makes things cost more dollars. This is called inflation.

  16. Milk is a very good comparison. We once had cows milk from cows, then refined milk, then skim or 2% and now 1% milk that taste like chalk water. I have seen bonds come from an asset to a liability because of the rates paid. What a shame how we are being taken advantage of..

  17. When I was in Vietnam 1966-67, I worked black ops. I helped USAID at a few times with some villages. Food and help for some. Not on my records, and what I did wasn't either. Only one controller for 7 months and no correct records. Average people and most military just don't know true.

  19. In 1963 as a teenager i maded $1.15 an hour in a grocery store. After service in 1969 my wife and i made $250 a week. We had a brand new nice house near a school for $18,000, had 2 new Mustangs, and i could keep 3 pay checks in my billfold. Things are really gone to crap now..

  30. Small farmers have always been screwed. The government gives some farmers big subsidies not to plant certain crops. Family farmers are a living entity that should not pay death taxes until the farm is sold.

  50. In the USA, the widows' pension funds were started to help women and children. Then, later, it was started to help older or disabled men. It was OK until the government started to use the monies as their private piggy bank. Another problem was that this money was turned into a retirement fund for people who had not paid into this fund before conception.
