Precious metals to me are like a firearm. Both just are of little value until you may need them to save you and/or your family. Even though many people only think about the here and now, but, there are some of us who believe in being prepared.
7

It also happened to me when I once bought a large amount of silver. Mine also went to the fraud department. I had to talk to the fraud agent to get it passed. This was very embarrassing....

You cannot trust gold when it is paper gold or when other people are holding the physical gold for you...

Unnecessary spending and unpayable debt usage are part of the things that also help get us into this mess. But, I blame the governments of the world π for being the leaders of this mayhem...if you can't hold it, you don't own it.. If don't have it, you can't spend it...

I also have solar panels in my field. Not because of saving money so much, but because of medical devices. They were very expensive, $60,000+. If I had a chance to do it again, I would have used this money to buy more land or more precious metals. But, to each their own.

I believe that the USA is in a monetary quicksand pit, and they are wiggling too much. And, this will cause the economy to sink faster and faster.
