  2. @StarfireReborn  I am 77. I feel sorry for our youth. I have kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. With the government keeping it up, people will live i do growing up. In a shack, no electricity, no running water, no inside bathroom, etc.. Little or no money or things.

  43. In the early 1970's I looked at investing in the dow, which was around a $1,000 or so. The world economy seemed to be going up at this time, and so was inflation. Over the years I have seen inflation go higher and higher to me causing the dow to rise. To me government spending seem to get out of control. Does higher inflation cause the dow to highly rise giving a false price?

I have no trust in Swiss Banks because they were considered neutral in WW2, but they harbored Nazi stolen gold and art that was stolen from the Jews and from other countries whose owners were probably sent to the death camps. The banks took many years to repatriate much of these treasures back to the true owners' families and countries. To me, this made them just as bad as our enemies.
