+Randy Brown That was the one in which Sisko dreamed he was a writer in the 1950's, right? Even if I can't remember the story title, that was one excellent episode.
2
+Kelvensmarticles The one thing I have to give many 9-11 conspiracy nuts credit for is that at least they know who the President of the United States was on that day.
2
+Felipe Rico Another thing I believe Lucas started was the merchandising promotion of a movie before the movie was even released (The Empire Strikes Back).
2
+Al Orange I knew there had been a TV movie about Jonestown, but I couldn't remember who played Jim Jones.
2
+Deinonychus2 Trump becoming President will be a punishment for this country, but not because people have been too PC.
2
+Stormer Ferrari Yeah, celebrity workout videos were definitely an 80's trend.
2
If I had to pick a drug in the Doctor Who universe that should be real, I'd go with refined Spectrox (from "The Caves of Androzani"). It's not the key to eternal life, but it apparently lets a regular user live and be in good shape for much longer than currently possible.
2
#3 -- Not really a surprise to see a mugshot for any singer or musician of Bowie's generation.
2
WatchMojo UK thinks you do since you took the time and effort to voluntarily click on the link to this video.
2
+JohnnyElRed Yet the King didn't follow in Franco's footsteps, even when he had an opportunity when rogue army soldiers stormed the Cortes in 1981.
2
+McGarnickle But only as a honorable mention, which stinks. How can you put a character who defined 80's fashion for men as simply a honorable mention?
2
*****ย ย Yes, that would be more appropriate than coal. ย : )
2
"She looks almost exactly like Tina Fey!" -- my very first thought the first time I saw Sarah Palin on the news back in 2008.
2
I think it said "nearly" one million.
2
My unanswered question: Why didn't the Avengers mention Doctor Who in their list of various movies and TV shows that dealt with time travel? ๐
2
Did you compile this list before Infinity War? Because there's at least four moments I can think of from that movie that could've been considered for this list. "Why is Gamora?" The Cloak of Levitation smacking Tony's shoulder. Drax and Gamora's admiring Thor's body and Star Lord's jealous reaction. "I am Groot." "I am Steve Rogers."
2
+Juanco_"C.E.O." Did it ever occur to you that in the immediate aftermath she was in shock? It's not exactly a common occurrence to see your husband's brains literally blown out in front of you. As far as her composure at the funeral is concerned, not only did she have three days to process what had happened, but she couldn't very well look after her children if she was freaking out (personally, I think children that young shouldn't be at funerals, but that's a different soap box).
2
+CAM BRO Without Bugs there wouldn't have been a Pinky and Brain.
2
ย @jonnyd7663ย Can the Time Stone be used to bring back living beings? The only thing I can remember Strange using it to play with in his movie was an apple. And Vision, although sentient, isn't flesh and blood.
2
I knew about Jason Bateman and Kurt Russel.
2
Since Bush Senior didn't personally engage with Saddam Hussein, I don't think it really qualifies for this video.
2
+Jim B. Were there riots in the UK over that? I don't recall reading about any.
2
I'm guessing that WWE either wouldn't give permission or the money it was asking for permission was too high for WatchMojo. Having said that, however, I don't think WatchMojo should have started these Top 10 WWE videos unless they could've obtained the rights to air the clips.
2
+J'Nay Vann Yeah, I had read somewhere about the possibility that the hush money could be considered a campaign contribution. And not only did Trump supposedly not sign the NDA, both he and Daniels were referred to by fake names throughout the document. I'm no legal expert, but surely a contract can't be valid if the individuals' legal names aren't used? I'd be very surprised if Trump gets anywhere with that suit.
2
No, I thought it was a neat concept as well.
2
That wasn't a beating, that was an annihilation.
2
The only major difference between you and me are maps. If I'm at home and want to figure out how to get somewhere, I'll get on my laptop and access Google Maps. If I'm not at home, I'll either use a folding map or ask for directions since I don't have a smartphone either.
2
The fall of the Berlin Wall wasn't the only "prediction" made by Laugh In. Another episode with a news of the future sketch (in this case, the future was 1988) referred to then California Governor Reagan as "President Reagan".
2
#7 -- A similar thing happened with Bobby Heenan when he was with WCW. A wrestler either fell on or otherwise bumped into the announcers' table during a match on Nitro and apparently that wasn't part of the script because Heenan said something like "What the f - - k!" After the next commercial break, Heenan broke character even more by apologizing to the TV audience for his language. The funny thing is that apology shocked me more than the swearing. Although it was a bit of a shock to hear someone say that word on mainstream TV (even if it was cable), it wouldn't have been totally out of character for someone like Heenan to swear. However, it was very out of character for him to sincerely apologize for it.
2
+William Oman Impeachment is like an indictment. Clinton will go down in the history books as being impeached, just not removed from office based on that impeachment.
2
The First Amendment doesn't compel anyone to provide a platform for people's speech.
2
It's supposed to be the craziest theories. Johnson having Kennedy killed would still be a stretch, but at least the motive (becoming President) is plausible.
2
+Ryan McCarthy I don't think anyone could have summarized it any better.
2
@Jay Christy: Not as long as you keep clicking on its videos.
2
When WatchMojo claims Drax said something that Mantis did, then shows Mantis saying it not even ten seconds later. ๐
2
I don't see how Sears fits the category. The only significant difference between what it started out as and what it became is the addition of more products.
2
I'm a bit surprised that wasn't mentioned.
2
Tom and Jerry? Tex Avery's works?
2
+Karl Loustalot Krabs would be more likely to install one of those kiosks that you order and pay at yourself. It'd be cheaper in the long run.
2
I would say that he did because someone has to explain to Iron Man and/or the other surviving Avengers that Doctor Strange can't see the future beyond his own death. And, since he was able to see a timeline in which the Avengers prevailed, he must either not really be dead or is somehow resurrected before Thanos' defeat.
2
+Matt Hong And the sad part is I can't imagine many of these commercials being effective to the tune of $5 million (except maybe the movie trailers).
2
+Kara Ruckle Speaking of normalizing crazy, could you have imagined even just a year ago that mainstream news outlets would've printed and/or repeated that word verbatim?
2
Professional press is the 4th Estate. The 5th Estate is "citizen journalism".
2
I don't agree with the number one spot. Since Chuck Cunningham was the inspiration for the trope name, he should have been number one with Judy Winslow at number two.

6. So what happens if the power goes out or the processing system goes down or is hacked? 4. Never mind the future. I don't watch network TV now and I don't miss it. 2. You can have my landline when you pry it from my cold dead hands. ๐ But, seriously, I've been through too many tropical storms and hurricanes to know that you need a back up in case the electricity goes out and you can't charge your cell phone for an extended period. Most landline phones are electric dependent as well, but you can get one that just plugs into the phone jack. 1. I hope paper doesn't totally disappear. It's just quicker for me to write down notes and other stuff using paper and pen(cil) than it would be to use the computer (and less chance of me getting distracted). I don't mind e-books, but I prefer physical reading material.
2
From the day you can use the potty by yourself, you're told to always wash your hands after using the toilet, but when you think about everything you touch during the day, wouldn't it also make sense to get into the habit of washing your hands before using the toilet as well?
2
Beiber was in the original CSI , not the Miami one, but I agree that his performance sucked. Am I a bad person for being happy when his character was being gunned down? ๐
2
We did. Apparently, the people at WatchMojo have no appreciation for cleverness.
2
I don't know much about him, but I've seen him in interviews promoting Infinity War, and he is hilarious.
2
How ironic is it that most of these clips featured the latest persona non grata of the entertainment world, Chris Hardwick?
