US Presidents are limited to two terms.
1
@2ezTimmy That would mean the 22nd Amendment would have to be repealed and, considering the process needed to do that, I don't see that happening anytime in the near future.
1
You and me both, Me AndMeToo. May we both be successful soon. 🙂
1
And the funny thing is that those same Republicans who didn't utter a peep when Trump did that will be screaming their heads off that Biden is abusing his power or something along those lines.
1
She didn't seem particularly gleeful to me.

For impeachment, more than likely since all that requires is a simple majority in the House. However, after impeachment, there has to be a trial in the Senate, after which ⅔ of that body (67 Senators) would have to vote "guilty" to remove Trump from office. And as long as the Senate is controlled by Trump boot lickers, I'm not seeing that come to pass.
1
@ricsta7660 If that's the case, Steyer should've focused his efforts on the Senate.
1
@ricsta7660 The investigation would probably last as long as it took to get to this point. 🙂

My mind is still trying to reconcile that. On the one hand, I can't help but think that Trump's condition might be more serious than anyone is letting on simply because he is going to the hospital. On the other hand, how serious can it be if he's still walking?
1
The number of attendees doesn't always translate into votes. Ask Bernie Sanders.

It's usually not a good idea to call someone else dumb if your own post has blatant spelling and punctuation errors.
1
@odtandthebackupplan "These [NGOs] are so [naive]. They are always young[,] dumb[,] and full of (redundant to say "more dumbness" since you already claimed they were "dumb")[.]
1
@odtandthebackupplan You're welcome. 🙂
1
@milesinnz If you're going to try and bully me, write your post using proper English spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Your inability to use any of the three was too much of a distraction from whatever point you thought you were making.
1
@milesinnz "Challenged back"? That usually implies that I said something to you first, then you said something back to me, then I found offense with what you said. Since you initiated this exchange, I don't think that statement applies. "... little boy ..." Nice assumption of my gender.
1
Yeah, that figure sounds way too low.
1
It's a quirk of the English language that "king" always means a reigning monarch, whereas "queen" can refer to a reigning monarch or the wife of the king. If Philip had "king" as part of his title, people would have assumed he was the monarch instead of his wife.
1
@rodibremo The wife of a British king has always been a queen consort. Her title, though, has always been simply "Queen [First Name]".

Cuba was never a state or territory of the US.
1
@robertscofield7845 Cuba was a protectorate from 1898-1902, not exactly the same as a territory. Regardless, I doubt many people here in the US would want our government to take on the responsibility of governing and providing for Cuba even if the Cuban people did vote for it (I doubt that would happen either).
1
@robertscofield7845 Americans have been able to freely travel to and from Puerto Rico for generations.

Yesterday I read that the family who had their property returned is planning on selling it back to Los Angeles County. Although it is the family's property to do with as they see fit, I think it's a shame to have fought all those years to get the land back only to turn around and sell it. And not just sell it, but sell it to the entity that stole it in the first place.
1
The title of this video applies to every UK Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary since those two offices were created.
1
Where did it mention in the video what political party, if any, this mayor belongs to?
1
Barely 24 hours since the attack and this guy is attracting fans like you in droves.
1
@annaswain1809 Giving a murder suspect, especially one this high profile as it is, any unnecessary publicity is something a fan would do.
1
Unless Trump is faking, it wouldn't do him any good to take any vaccine now.
1
Did you just get dropped off in 2020 via time machine? The Soviet Union hasn't existed since December of 1991.
1
I was under the impression that just about any embassy diplomat, never mind an ambassador, can't be kicked out of a country unless he / she was accused of serious crimes (e.g., murder, spying, etc...).
1
Not going to happen as long as the Tr--p bootlickers are in control of Congress.
1
@Gawanipony 3 👎 for lack of paragraph breaks.
