  3. Juveniles doing this sort of crime should not be protected as juveniles. We all know through history that these mass shootings are for notoriety and glory. Guns at school are not a joke and shouldn't be treated like an accident or unintentional. The disruption, the amount of resources spent to give an all clear, and the emotional turmoil students suffer are huge. Remove the veil and expose who these criminals are.

  4. This is a really sad story for all involved. I heard the 911 call, and I would imagine the officer's family are as distraught as those who lost their loved ones. Having worked in Fayettenam, I can say that it can be a really scary place with all the violence, drugs, and such. It's easy to dissect a story like this, post blame and "find the cause" but all involved have lost something. Prayers for the families and community... prayers for healing.

  7. It's amazing how the Government can shut down, but they can't shut the borders down. Meanwhile, the military and other government employees get to work without a paycheck, and we will feed, house, clothe, and provide medical care to people who come here illegally at the expense of American citizens. Doesn't make sense.

  10. The survey of whether taxpayers feel they pay too much, too little, or just right is missing key information such as WHAT TAX BRACKET these people are in. I know of people in section 8 housing who get 12k refunds, and we know they didn't pay that much during the year.
